Anything slashed, ripped or destroyed is the ‘new’ finish of choice for Fall apparently. You can’t do a search for ‘ripped clothes’ without the word WANG surfacing in your list somewhere, but Julian McDonald was apparently one of the first runway designers to be chanelling this look from several years ago and he returned to it in FORCE. That bejewelled pointy shouldered jacket with cropped skinny leather pants is PURE DROOL and is actually my favourite look between the two above runway shots.
For now, this Topshop spidery yarned number is my homage to THE coolest show during London Fashion Week. God he makes me a proud Brit. My sparkly vest (bought about 2 years ago) was layered underneath but I’ll experiment with an American Apparel longer piece too.
