keep them neutral?

***
Over the knee grey suede lovelies – found recently while thrifting in Williamsburg.
***
Question: Keep them grey or dye them black?
***
ps. I found out today that I am in the FINAL for the ASOS styling contest! OMG OMG OMGGG!!!!! Thank you voters for keeping me in it.
***
Only problem is my worst fear is realized: I go head to head with the biggest blogger in Norway. The one with the gigantic fan base. How the heck do we compete with that? (notice I said we like your literally in this with me). I’ll keep you updated when the David and Goliath battle starts later in Feb…. God only knows how I get more votes then. Arrrghhhh…!

this could be taking a risk…but any chance you could team up with other bloggers to get their readership? Through IFB maybe (am so bummed I’ll miss the conference)?

keep them grey…much more wearable throughout the year and much more distinctive! you could wear with black or with pastel or white or neutral and still look fresh. Black…been there, done that.

  2. Ro Morgan says:

most definitely keep them grey! spring is near,
it’s all about neutrals. They are fab by the way!

i think you should keep them grey. or maybe you could dye them a darker camel color? by the way, i’m an expat living in hong kong. love your blog. p.s. although i’m an american, i recognize several of your “things i miss about london”…like the digestives and walkers crisps. we get them here in hk!

Wow, you’re a lucky thrifter all right! Love those! Def keep them grey, dying them black would make them more average (and I’m not saying that like that’s a good thing! ;))

Lots of people like your looks, so keep you head up high! 🙂

And when it comes to asos contest – you have my vote! Mine and all of my friends which I will badger with (that’s how you say it?) this topic. You’ll get tons of votes, I promise 🙂

  46. Jaine says:

I saw you got through to the final! well done! I voted!

Had you thought about dying the boots a darker grey? It seems I’m a bit obsessed with charcoal at the moment. Its a different option to black but still strong, I’m not really a neutral beige kind of girl. Charcoal suits suede beautifully.
