Nylon Magazine – The 60s style salute

Anyone seen the current Nylon? The shop guy gave me a blank stare when I wanted to buy it with a credit card.  Anyone else bad with carrying cash?

I emptied out a massive pile of coins and two dollar bills saying: ‘look – just take all of this’  
He gave me the magazine…

I am going absolutely MAD over the current January issue of Nylon.  Their tribute to mod 60s is spot on.

It’s pretty literal but easy to dilute down and keep one or two references. The shift dress.  The slim cut suit and skinny ties. The low cut square toe shoe. The houndstooth. The messy hair.  The pale lip.  The piled on panda eye liner and lashes.  

This is MASSIVE style inspiration to dive into next year.

I found these to get started but with the basic shapes in mind, you can get the look all over the place:

Asos sequin shift dress (like pic 7).  Killer with navy opaque tights or bare leg. This one here is the perfect day dress.
Asos faux fur.
Ganni pointed flats or Topshop patent loafers

    Haha I never use cash and feel bad when I buy a dollar item with my card. But I do it to earn cash back!

    Love this issue as well! And totally know what you mean — I barely carry more than $5 in cash at any one time. It’s too clunky and it rips in my wallet zipper!

    you’re not alone, I never carry cash either. my boyfriend goes crazy everytime I pull out my card to pay for something minor like chewing gum 😀
