Dress: Asos.  More little print dresses from Mango, Asos (want) and this peacock print.  Bag: JCrew.  Similars from Club Monaco, Derek Lam or Shades: Ray-Ban.  Boots: Vintage (DIY hacked from knee to ankle height). Try Topshop or these lookalikes from FP.
I got this dress on Asos a few weeks ago.  That site I tell you is crack. There’s so many good pieces I’ve got sitting in my shopping cart bookmarked.  The bag however was a knee jerk purchase.  Soon as I saw it I knew.  It’s sold out now but I marked off some similars. It’s surprisingly hard to find a good leopard print.  I have it in cobalt (stand back in amazement) which between the two satisfy my biggest weaknesses (animal print and cobalt).
For those on Instagram who asked about my boots I use a pair of very sharp scissors to cut them from knee to ankle height.  You can finish off the raw edge with any cobblers sewing machine!  Let me know if you try it. I know some of my readers have :-))

Things I appreciate about Karen’s blog:

Always a fresh look — rarely wears what other bloggers are wearing (rockstuds excepted, but really, that’s a great shoe if you have the legs — and the pocketbook — for it.)
Has a point of view and is not afraid to be consistent, trends be damned. Love all the vintage I see here.
Yes, she has sponsors, etc., but they do not dominate her blog.
Always something new and interesting to read. Awareness of the world outside of one’s self is greatly appreciated! I love that other interesting looking women are photographed and featured here.

I have removed a lot of fashion blogs from my feed. Some of them are well known but have grown incredibly stale in terms of content. But I continue to come to this blog every day, knowing I’ll always find something of interest.

wow. I was not expecting this from you Sinead. Thank you. I’m always wondering if I’m doing the right thing since I’ve been blogging for a while and there are soooo many blogs out there now. Thank you for helping me feel motivated to perhaps keep going!
