Cha Cha Changes

shoe storage ideas

I said  this would be THE LAST year that I talk about re-decorating my home.
I’ve been talking about it forever but always ended by slumped on the couch in front of the TV and swiping through ‘decor inspo’ pictures feeling about as accomplished as sh**
This time I started.
Above is one of the changes.  This was originally an old sewing table with my hats piled on top and a box underneath of crap.  Michael and me cleared that and instead had open shelves put in to store my shoes (the rest of them are on another storage shelf I’ll show you later).

Now for the first time I can actually see what shoes I have instead of them being piled around eating up floor space.

More home updates to come…

You’ll thank yourself when you do them

Yep. I’m always sitting around with my face stuck inside the latest edition of “Living, etc.” Finally decided to stop reading and start doing. And I have a LOT to do.

Your shelves look great. Are they mounted to the wall studs or on brackets?

My fave magazine EVER. I’m flicking through mine almost daily. Even the old issues are brilliant. I keep them all. I agree, time to just START. The shelves are mounted on brackets.

Brackets! Oh that’s great. 1000 times more doable. The shelves in my home office are mounted to the wall studs and that was a nightmare. I would love it if you would post more photos. I would love to see exactly what you did. I never throw away an issue of “Living, etc.” It’s the only shelter mag I read now and it’s FAR better than any of the ones published here in the States. God help me if my SO ever finds out how much it costs, lol!

Ahhh so you know what it’s like. Any room for shelves?

Sell some more shoes girl! I’ve bought at least 3 pairs from you so far!

Also I am looking at the Toga Pulla’s for sale now but I was wondering why you sold them so quickly after purchasing from the SSENSE sale without even wearing them. Is the fit terrible?

    Thanks,
    Katie

I LOVE THE BLUE ONES! I’m selling because I have them in black so had to come to my senses but trust me I love them both. They fit fine.

Thank you. I REALLY wanted to find a solution and housing them in stacked boxes wasn’t it for me.
