I know that THE BEST slip dresses are vintage or even faster finds – at Walmart. No joke.
Slip dress: Walmart underwear section. Boots: Sam Edelman. Jacket: Zara (old). Bag: Chanel. Try Rebecca Minkoff or Michael Kors. Shades: Ray-Ban. Wishbone necklace: Jennifer Zeuner. Crucifix necklace: Gift from Mum. Trumpet necklace: New Orleans shop.
I look at some ‘inspired by’ slip dresses listed on a google search and look at the dress and back at the price then back at the dress, then back at the price and think: GTFO. Screw that and go direct to the underwear section. Get two sizes up so it skims versus dodgy body con territory.
Bonus that you can actually wear them as they were intended – under ‘real’ dresses.
ps. These are the most comfortable ankle boots I’ve got. I constantly fight the temptation to order them in black.

Yes do. I LOVE that they’re from there. I have a couple of vintage ones too but its the sizing issue and cuts of vintage that makes it less accessible for everyone.
