If you’re fed up with last years wardrobe, here’s three Autumn looks to consider while updating yours…!
You could spin this in one of three ways: 1. Match shades to a part of your coat even if it’s just the lining for a flash of colour when walking. 2. Wear one colour head to toe and contrast it with a different colored coat. 3. Contrast a trench with an unexpected bag.
Polish up slouched dresses with glossy structured boots. For some reason patent leather boots make anything look better. They work really well with denim and corduroy. Try Nine West ‘Wasabi’ pointy boots, Topshop’s Mary block heel boots or Jill Sander.
Suede is less expected in trousers. Wear them ankle length and contrast with a classic shirt. Try sling backs or mules like Tamu has or mid calf heeled boots when it’s cooler.
I reckon Anthropologie’s suede culottes are a good take worn with slouchy knits and tall boots. If suede trousers feel like hard work, then update with suede boots like Vince Camuto (on sale), River Island’s 70s style ones or Alexander Wang.
