H&M invited me to preview their A/W 2011 collection last week. A chance to see what’s coming and share with you – brilliant.
The above shoes are my # 1 fave item (no surprises really since I have these). Took everything to not do a sneak try on.

I LOVE this patch elbow knit dress. Add wool tights and old boots/skimmers/creepers or black brogues. (I’d wear the neon satchel messenger style with this but the classic brown would really look timeless with this colour grey)
Sheer black front/white back sleeveless shirt. This would work with black leather or denim skinnies or layered over a sheer maxi dress (with the shirt skinny belted)
The structured pony hair bag with gold hardware. I tried it on over this dress I was wearing at the show room
Tweeds and floral mixes in brown, camel, purples and plum. Wools paired with chic blouses and dresses plus wide leg trousers – the 1940s are back
A Pucci – esq print skort. These could be worn with a sheer purple/blue or cream button down shirt tucked in or a slouchy ribbed knit
Their fringe tote will return in suede (sold out in black faux leather) and cuffs with gold hardware
So Harry Potter. The new geek glasses are a-round (excuse the pun) for Autumn
Gorgeous pearl peter pan collar to update your clothes. Layer this over countless plain above or below the knees dresses. I’d try it over plain tops too
Navajo print poncho and mushroom suede vest dress (add a black or beige skinny polo neck with skinny sleeves and your done. Plus skimmers—> flats)
A wardrobe classic for transitioning (I’ve had my own pair for years. Works with all dress lengths, shorts and skinnies)
