Celine


I love Zara‘s take right now on minimalism.

I bought two simple pieces:

Cobalt blue skimmers to run around the city with skinnies or dresses like these and a very soft Celine esq peach/orange leather shopper.  Devoid of all unnecessary detailing. No hardware.  No zips.  No logos.  Just soft leather.

I took the last picture of the three Celine bags at Barneys to show a quick comparison  (yes – they are lovely in real life too).

At the end of the day, when styled correctly you can so easily work the lower priced version if you can’t afford Celine.

    Zara has too much colour blocking and neon now so i dont see many things i like, i have to pop into it soon cus the flats look great.

    The Zara bag really does look VERY similar. Great purchases. I absolutely love Zara as well. I try and stay clear for fear that I’ll become bankrupt lol.

    I love the flats and bag! I am the type of person if I like the look of a designer ensemble or item, I will find the same look either thrifted or from a local store. I am not a fan of direct knock-offs, but inspired pieces or pieces that give you a “look for less” are definitely what I love.

    LV – just under 5ft 7

    holly mariee – no I didn’t say I am against copies. The JC post are a copy of Chloe and I said they are an excellent copy (as in a positive in my opinion). I’m fine to straddle both sides and wear designer (if I can afford) or non designer. As long as I like the item itself that’s the most important thing (and funds of course).
