My first look at the Spring 2012 collection in shops from January.
Convertible suede effect clutches with optional long shoulder straps. Scattered throughout the showroom in tangerine, cobalt and black.
Everything could be accented with these white citrus trimmed sunglasses.
Ivory creepers – naturally I need to have these.
Purples and taupe colours in loose fluid fabrics.
Cobalt blues were accented throughout. These kitten heels are perfect with skinnies or a mini and an oversized lightweight knit.
Transitional knits in navy tweeds and cream.
Lace dress in cobalt. Good with skinny belts and flats.
Semi transparent shapes pop in neon yellow and apple green.
Double layered collared dress. A wearable cut in an unexpected colour.
Pinks, browns and creams. I had my eye on the ditsy tea dresses with all over bird prints.
Kelly green cross body bag.
The H&M Selfridges collection: Inspired by Selfridges department store in London. This is a higher end capsule collection, focused on classic cuts in black, ivory and gold accents. Hits shops in two weeks.
Cocoon coat with belt. Works with a transparent maxi skirt or dress or cropped skinnies with heels or flats.
The Selfridges collection accessories also included a sleek snake skin clutch and heels.

I liked the range of defined colour themes, making it easy to add into our existing wardrobe, whether a taupe jacket, a neon dress to accent or a soft (and yes it was soft) white leather vest.
Speaking of which, that vest and creepers for me are a must have.
