Tuesday night I attended the H&M Fashion Star TV party at the fifth avenue store.  For those outside of the US, Fashion Star is a weekly tv series showcasing up and coming fashion designer’s collections who’s items are judged by major store buyers, H&M included.  The winning collection can be purchased the next day at stores or online.  I got the last pair of these pants on one random afternoon at H&M.  Score!

Took some quick pics of what I wore right before heading into the shop.   Went mono in wide leg tuxedo trousers by Sarah Parrott – one of the designers on the show.  Also a black trimmed shirt and the H&M leather vest which I’m clearly addicted to (this one gets the look too).   Also found tuxedo pant options: here or these are a close match.

TIP: Order a size or two up in the pants and vest for no annoying cling.
