Retro Make Up 101

Untitled

I can’t do perfect make up jobs on myself.  I’ve tried.  During fashion week I have been stopping by the Style Coalition Influencer Lounge, this year presented by P&G Beauty, to let them do it instead.

The space is relaxing and the service and products are complimentary so I tried two new CoverGirl products:  First the CoverGirl Flamed Out mascara (my weakness is finding the perfect one). I have thin sparse lashes and this is supposed to give mega volume which clearly errrm…I’m in need of.

Make up artist Catherine used the Flamed Out mascara to finish off an un-planned retro eye-like look complete with perfect winged liner which I flipped out over. Why can’t I get the hang of this retro look at home?

Before the mascara I also got a quick manicure with this cute mini-sized nail polish.  The colour is CoverGirl Glosstini in ‘Lemon Drop.’

It’s a warm pastel color which is supposed to last up to 7 days – the main reason I went with this actually.

Since leaving the lounge I’ve been obsessed with perfecting the retro look – at least until the next fashion week rolls around and I get more refresher lessons at the lounge.  How are you trying the retro trend for Autumn?

Love the hat and vintage pin you’re rocking. The color of the nail polish adds the perfect finishing touch. Looking fab as always! Thank you for sharing.

you might want to try rapidlash and/or hair skin vitamins…they make your eyelashes grow and thicken like crazy! i have thick lashes but they’re short and the vitamins definitely made them longer and my skin looks amazing too!
