shift dress

I went out recently one evening with a friend last week in this little shift dress found at a local hole in the wall vintage shop.

over the knee boots

stuart weitzman hitest boots
grey wool coat
sixties mod dress

Dress: Pin Up Queens. Similar shape dresses on Asos. Coat: Maison Scotch. Similar mannish grey coats from Topshop here and here. Boots: Stuart Weitzman ‘Hitest’.  Bag: H&M
I’m addicted to these types of dresses and have my eye on this zip shine one too – it’s like a skirt and top in one.  The perfect little retro number.  
The mens coat was to balance out dress down the dress so it’s not too going out-like.  Read: basically cover me up while on route. It helps that the dress material is similar to a jumper.

You know these boots by now from earlier posts like worn with tthat big jumper.  I wore them all night and they are ridiculously comfortable – I couldn’t be asked to teeter around in heels anyway.
