Ranch Dressing

vintage white lace dress

Enjoying the weekend??  I hope you are getting gorge hot weather like we are in New York.
We stayed local hanging out with friends who have a balcony view of the fireworks.  You can see my July Fourth outfit on my Instagram (can’t go wrong with t-shirt and shorts really).   Since we’ve been home I figured I’d share these vintage dress outfit pics taken upstate last week!

Dress: Second hand. Try Asos (love this) and Free People. Sandals: Zara. Try Tibi, Valentino or Schutz. Bag: Foley & Corinna. I want the pony hair oneRay-Ban.  Brass cuff: Liberty United. Try Giles & Brother. Beaded bracelet: Street vendor

I can’t help wearing this dress a lot.  It’s sheer, long and has sleeves so ticks off all the boxes and the fact that it’s a Salvation Army find makes me feel so flipping’ smug. I get the biggest buzz from finding stuff from random places hence The Full Monty series!  Keep checking your local second hand spots – they’re hit or miss but they’re worth the random walk ins.  I bet you find your fave piece there – you watch.

You saw the dress before here worn back to front with white plimsolls.  For a black and white contrast I wore it this time with these black gladiator studded sandals plus black shorts and an underwear top I don’t mind showing off.

We took these photos at Russell Farm. It’s a ranch upstate that we pass every summer but this time we stopped off!
