I bought this dress without trying it on because it checks off my mental list of dress requirements: has sleeves/ it’s long/romantic lace pattern –> bonus. This one online is shorter but with the same effect (gorge in Autumn with black knit tights). The colour and print on the one I found though reminds me soooo much of the Valentino RTW 2012 collection.
Mind you, the length bothered me grazing around the upper ankles so I raised the front of it to show more leg and add in some shape. Pin first then sew (or use fusion tape like here). I went with the strappy heels to balance out the volume (worn with jeans in this post).
In Autumn I’m wearing tall or short boots plus a hat. For sure.
