I wanted to be comfortable for the last shoot last week so wore this floor length vintage chiffon dress in mint. It has double layers and I sort of floated around the hair and make up stations all morning with the flash of the metallic from the brogues when walking. I had my hair in a top knot inside and let it down upon leaving the studio amongst the herd of gazelles (models) in post make up. They were leaving at the same time.
A few of the models complimented me on the frock “I love your dressssss” they purred each surrounded by a hive of buzzing assistants. It’s a bit like having some angelic creature smile at you for no apparent reason and you responding with a dear stuck in headlights look “um thanks” I muttered behind the Nikon.
I ended the afternoon at The Spotted Pig. Love that place.
ps. I just realized. I wore the same hat/shoe combo in this post. Hmmmm.
