I was in the city yesterday for a meeting and chanced it in a shirt dress and basic car coat. The tights helped.
Coat: H&M (clearance sale). Dress: Asos. (This ones next on my list). Hat: H&M. FreePeople’s looks the same. Boots: Givenchy. Bag: Balenciaga. Lipstick: ‘Grape’ by BITE (Love this purple. I doubled up wearing two pairs of tights though. Also wore a thin cardi under the coat (not pictured). All that was enough to justify a ‘summer’ dress in winter. Of course by the time this post goes live I’ll be chilling out at home and not going anywhere all day; there’s supposed to be non-stop freezing ice falling all morning. Lovely.
Not that you need reminding but Fashion week starts this week. This should be interesting: teetering on ice rink pavements. Joking it won’t be like that. Will it?
