Lepoard and lace: Dolce & Gabanna Fall 2010 $$$$ vs. Forever 21 $30-40.

My eyes almost popped out when I saw the lace under leopard dress combo, sliding down the runway for D&G Fall 2010. No comparison with cut and fabric (obviously) but it shows the overall look is achievable on a budget. My last post wearing these two F21 dresses layered is here.
The cropped lace top: Phillip Lim $450 vs. Forever 21 $30.

Found a different version in black too here. Gorgeous.

The crucifix ring: Robert Lee Morris (Price: Anyone know?) vs. Forever 21 $4 (yes it comes in silver too)

The oversized stone ring: Rachel Leigh $57 vs. Yves St Laurent $195

Stack plain yellow gold rings with the Rachel Leigh version to create a similar feel to the YSL (plus it’s more unique). It comes in a rainbow of colours too here.
I found some food for thought on creating looks on the cheap.

    I heart F21! There is a HUGE F21 near my home that used to be a 2 story Mervyn’s and more than half of the second story is all on CLEARANCE… it’s heavenly…

    That Rachel Leigh ring is a great suggestion! I’ve been drooling over the YSL ring for who-knows-how-long, but that ring is just as lovely (and not a knock-off, which is nice).
