From clapping eyes on Ashley in the distance (see 2nd picture), I knew I was going to stop her. The asymmetrical dress + knotted shirt was perfect. Any play on a skirt hemline always stands out. Knotted, cut like the above or like this (I want this skirt).
What struck me the most was how soft and drapey everything looked, all anchored by adorable child like cut out shoes. Hers are Comme de Garcons bought during the Barneys sale. Her billowy transparent shirt is thrifted. Everyone needs a soft shirt like this. Buy one size up and layer it buttoned or fully opened over anything (would look gorge with cropped ankle grazing skinnies). Her dress is Cheap Monday.
