Big Bells

Denim flare jeans

About five years old and still the best flares found on eBay of all places (who remembers seeing them five years ago in this post upstate??) #flashback

Seven bell bottom jeansJeans: Seven For All Mankind.  Lookalikes Blank Denim and Asos. Blouse: Zara. Similar from Topshop or Asos.  Bag: Gucci. I like Asos’ seventies take. Sunglasses:  Beacons Closet

If you can almost trip over flares then they’re long enough.   I wore them this time with the block heels from this post last week.  Wedges would’ve worked but I don’t have a pair that’s the right height (they’re all platform sky scrapers).  I need ones like these by Castaner although it’s a bit late in the summer.  Remember when everyone had those wedges?

I wore the bells with a Zara blouse picked up in the sales and giant round sunglasses from Beacons for a Chloe-like fix.  I asked the sales assistant: “Are these glasses too big on me?”  He replies yes.   So of course I took them.

OMG LOL! honestly I’ve seen shorter women wear them but in darker colors and with wedges (key) and they rock it

Great look head-to-toe! I love the story about the glasses, too. No such thing as too big! 🙂

    Just love this…..It’s exactly how I dressed in the mid/late 60s early 70s 🙂

I love those flares. Am I the only nut that loves the sound that they make on the ground?

This is me all the way, only I wear boots with mine. If anyone wants a similar flare for under $100, try the Artist jeans at AEO. Normally I don’t care for AEO jeans, but the Artist is awesome…slim in the thigh, destroyed just enough, with cool details, and they have 3 or 4 versions in different fades, one has a let down hem and an exposed button fly.

Been wearing my flares with the Sundance “love is in the air” top…you’d look good in it, Karen, lace across the upper chest area and then all the way down to your fingertips, can dress up or down. Too sexy!
