To be perfectly honest I wasn’t a fan of the whole Galentine’s Day movement. It sounded like a random creation to dilute Feb 14th, but after the conversations that I had with powerful, successful women at the Ann Taylor Galentine’s dinner, I’m starting to change my mind.
Held at the Gramercy Park hotel, it was a panel discussion followed by a sit down dinner with some pretty inspiring women which I’ll admit have left me realizing even more how important and pioneering we all are – especially in this time. I wore Ann Taylor’s yellow ruffle sleeve blouse with skinny step hem jeans and with these leopard print mules (which honestly feel like slippers). The fact that we were complimenting each other’s clothes (and shoes of course!!) made us instantly bond. Typical women.
