Do you lot do the ‘summer hair’ thing? I hardly do and am practicing.
This was completely made up on the spot last weekend so no step by step pics (sorry!!). It’s really nothing with hardly any effort. I can’t canerow so I twist instead.
What I did:
Section hair into two with a center parting. Use your hands so it’s less precise.
Twist each section tightly against your head. If you could canerow you’d do that instead maybe. Push in pins along the way to secure the twist against the head. Repeat other side. Finish by criss crossing your hair ends and pinning the loose ends in.
Pull at the twists to mess them up. Pull as much as you want, letting strands hang out.
Hat optional.
ps. My usual fave is the messy milkmaid but this is another super easy alternative!
pps. I get tired of the same old same old so just having hair up makes a massive difference – especially in the summer. Try it.
