The 12 badass shoes of NYFW

Balenciaga cut out shoes

… and where you can find ones similar.

The Balenciaga buckle shoes

They are sold out everywhere but these Dulles Buckled Oxfords with the buckles across the foot have a similar feel.

The classic combat boot

Loved the black on black simplicity of these.   These Dr. Martens are as close as it gets.

The leopard print loafer

There’s still similars everywhere:

1. Sam Edelman loafers
2. Communication Love loafers
3. Giuseppe Zanotti crystal charm loafers
4. Asos x Antipodium Pathfinder loafers
5. Christian Louboutin Sakouette calf hair loafers

The multi-button/military style boot

Try the Free People Battalion boot (on sale) or these  Free People Johnny tall boots.

Untitled

The bright red Marni loafer

Try these Alexander Wang monk shoes (all Wangs here on sale) or the Bass Weejuns loafers in patent leather or these Kopehagan High Vamp loafers – they are black but have that similar traditional fringe detail.

A Metallic brogue

Try similars here with your denim roll ups:

1.  ACNE Askin Metallic brogues
2.  ASOS Music metallic brogues
3.  Uniform metallic gold brogues
4.  Marsell metallic slip on brogues

The two tone brogue

Try these Bass Enfield saddle brogues.

Untitled

The Celine loafers

Dye these Underground creepers black and you have a similar chunky two tone shoe.

Untitled

The Zara buckle boots

The black Dasha boots by Alexander Wang have a similar cut.

Untitled

The Charlotte Olympia platform wedge

Try these Olympia’s or these ones for the identical high rise cut and remove the ankle straps.

Untitled

The slip on loafer

I like these Bass Weejun loafers or the G.H. Bass & Company loafers (I grew up in ones identical to these in London).

Metal cap boots

These looked so badass on the model wearing them with all black.

I saw these metal capped Jeffrey Campbell zorro boots and loved the shape of these Rise Up platform boots (no toe cap).

The last word:

When in doubt, Yoox lists sold out designer shoes that magically appear there months, even years later.

I love all these shots! Thank you for providing alternatives as well.

I have to say though, my heart broke a bit to see the water seepage into those beautiful Charlotte Olympia wedges! I hope she was able to take care of them afterwards!
