St. Lucia

Thought I’d start showing photos from last month’s trip before summer’s over.  Still can’t believe it was last month.  I am originally from St. Lucia – an island girl!  I am born and raised in London England and have been traveling to the island all my life.
I hung out with Mum who wanted some Mum/daughter time. Michael stayed back in New York with Sir Oliver (our English Springer).
When in St. Lucia my life is through the eyes of someone local.  I re-connect with family and the neighbors while stuffing my face with Mum’s cooking and fresh coconut water from our tree in the back garden! Jealous yet?  If that’s a yes then you’ll be happy to know that the mosquitos killed me while I was there so it’s not all perfect.  Check my earlier Instagram feed for videos and more photos from the trip!

I am wearing:

Walmart panama hat +VS bikini
Ray-Ban mirror sunglasses
Van slip ons
Sun dress + Samudra clutch
F21 tunic + shorts (picked up this one in size L to wear as a dress)
Vintage find necklace

These photos felt like a refreshing drink for the eyes.
I’m glad you got to spend some time with your mum.
Want to hear something weird? My first pet was an English Springer and his name was Oliver.

Gorgeous photos. I’m just back from your third homeland (NYC) and the mosquitoes there were quite bad, MASSIVE bites!

You have no idea how much these pictures remind me of Bay Islands in Honduras!! The colours, the fruits (mango trees in my back yard),the look of the locals, the streets etc etc. all those things are priceless. The laid back life in those islands is sweet. You captured the feel of the place in your pictures and you sure made me travel back to home. Santa Lucia looks like a paradise!!

My favorite photo is of the coconut and breadfruit. I haven’t had breadfruit in YEARS! My family is from Guyana, Jamaica and Barbados. I miss the islands and can’t wait until I can visit again.
