Ever had ‘a thing’ that you’ve wanted for a really long time?Not a year, not a couple of years. Not even five years. I’m talking a reeeeally long time. Basically forever. This Chanel bag was ‘that thing‘ *doing air quotation marks with fingers.*
I’ve wanted one since before I moved to America while growing up in London. I usually saw them in magazines or if I took the tube or No.8 bus to Central London eg. High Street Kensington, Kings Road or Bond Street. Somewhere around that time the seed was planted. For life.
I finally managed to get my hands on one and almost welled up when I pulled it out of the dust bag. Pretty sad.
As for the pic? It’s a little tribute to Alexa’s infamous licking a Chanel shot.To say that I’m well chuffed is an understatement.

Just a little detail, it’s not a “2.55” but a “Timeless Classic” 😉 The real “2.55” is made of aged lambskin (not smooth leather), and the clasp is not a “CC” one, but a rectangular one ! The “2.55” is the one created by Gabrielle Chanel, whereas the “Timeless Classic” has been created by Karl Lagerfeld ! Anyway both are beautiful 🙂
