Dress: Vintage. Boots: All Saints. Bag: Vintage (DIY studded). Shades: Ray Ban. Belt: American Apparel. Nail Polish: Essie in ‘Sea Breeze’
I’ve been looking for a white drawstring leather bag for ages and found this on Saturday at a vintage shop.
Originally I wanted black but who doesn’t have a black bag?? I studded this one and plan to wear it this winter with my black and grey wardrobe.
The dress is about five years old and is still one of my fave summer numbers. Evaaaaah….
Randomness: I bumped into actress turned model Joy Bryant in Topshop today and told her I love her work and think she’s lovely (even though I don’t know what she’s done). I also wanted to tell her to become my new BFF since I felt a connection and can we go shopping together, but didn’t think that would’ve gone over too well.

You did a fantastic job studding that bag. I saw your twit pic yesterday, but did not comment. I love the white. Also, like the way you belted this dress.

agree with Jacqueline. thanks for replying me. you’re really ‘lucky’ with gems. i really like the bag, the way it hangs. and i quite like the way you studded this one. and i love dresses like this one. kinda nude, kinda sheer, some kinda wonderful.

I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that my favorite designer on the planet Marc Jacobs said that he was “over” black (and studs). I think I have to agree and have been subconsciously agreeing in my mind for the last few months. My wardrobe has been shifting from Adams Family Values to the Rachel Zoe Project (but I don’ d i e).

I love that dress! You always find great vintage dresses and they look so ‘today’ on you! That’s pretty amazing to run into a celebrity. But you know, she will approach you when you hit it big time and ask you to go shopping! Hey, you never know, right?? To me, you already are a celebrity and I would be awe struck seeing you somewhere!! I’m a goof like that! 🙂
