Blazer: Alexander McQueen (taken from blog post in May 2009 here)
I was at work when I heard the shocking news via an email from a friend saying that Alexander McQueen had died.
Like a lot of you, I still cannot believe it.
I was lucky enough to stumble across this McQueen blazer one day while at a consignment shop. After it lived in my wardrobe for a few months, I listed it on Ebay. No one bought it.
To this day I am so glad that no one did because I knew then that I would have regretted it.
The fashion world just lost a creative genius.
May he rest in peace and his work be cherished forever.

Definately my favourite of all the outfits you’ve ever put together. He was my favourite designer, he was the reason I started following fashion, and I am still devestated.
I don’t own anything of his, but I’m heading to a consignment shop over the weekend to see if I have any look, seeing as ebay isn’t really working out for me.
