The people that are listed in the tiny square photos under the face on the left are not Bloglovin followers…those are Blogger followers. They’re totally different. I follow you on Bloglovin, but not on Blogger. So my picture won’t appear on that list. Yet I should still be eligible for your contest since I DO follow you on Bloglovin.

I love the way you are wearing it so I would either do the same and wear it with a strapless top or maybe with something that covers only one shoulder…anyway been eyeing this for a while…hope I win! 🙂

  13. Katie says:

i love that necklace! it is beautiful how t covers one shoulder. And i am really loving chains right now. I would love to wear it with a pair a skinny jeans, pair of high heeled black booties with studs on them and a lovely dark green strappless shirt.

    lovely giveaway!

  14. afterDRK says:

I would wear it without anything else, haha just naked! Cause that piece is awesome! No just kidding, I have this really awesome but kinda boring dress and I think this necklace is the best to spice it up with (instead of a drip of hot sauce, that won’t come out too good).
You’re blog is really awesome btw!

  15. Robyn says:

So many ways! I love how it looks with a strapless top or dress, like you have it here, but I also would like to mix it up by layering it underneath a sheer top or wearing it peeking out of a more conservative outfit with a cardigan or a jacket. I’ve been in serious lust over this piece since you first debuted it here; I will totally provide sketches of how I’d wear it if that would help my chances!

I’d wear the armor chain with an amazing white laced top! Preferably a turtleneck lace, buried somewhere in the messy closet of mine. Would be a sick contrast.

Hope the wheel lands on me!

I follow you both with BlogLovin’ and Google! I looove that ume neck piece–I would totally wear it with a girly one shoulder dress I have–this would be the perfect piece to toughen it up a bit!

    Thanks!! <3

  19. Tia says:

i like how you’re styling it. i would also try to wear it as a head piece – kind of like a bandana. with minimal, polished makeup, red lipstick, and neutral clothing. OR i would wear it over a long, flowy tunic or short dress as a vest/necklace or a belt.

  20. lindstrk says:

I LOVE this piece (and it looks sick with that dress). The first time I saw the photos of you wearing this, I instantly imagined what I would don it with if ever given the chance. After about three seconds, I knew I’d definitely go with my blue American Apparel Asymmetrical Dress and combat boots (and Ray Bans).
I would give this beautiful armor a very, very good home.

  21. naomi says:

I just posted about armor jewellery on my blog, all the pieces are amazing. I would love to wear them over really thin turtle necks in the fall.

    naomi.

  22. Blah Blah Becky says:

    Thank you for this opportunity…

I’d wear it over a ripped up, thin white t-shirt with black peg trousers, my black Carvela Surprise wedges, and a black trilby or fedora. A monochrome, minimalistic outfit to let this amazing piece of jewellery do the talking!

  23. createur-d'ensemble says:

I would wear the chain with a this one shoulder dress (rihanna-like). the chain on one shoulder and the dress on the other.
    The chain is amazing!

  24. leflassh. says:

such a sick piece. so awesome. + love what you are wearing here.
    xx

  25. Ashley says:

Eep I *love* that chain! I’d wear it with a one-shouldered dress, on the no-shoulder side – I think it’d be a nice, surprising contrast! And it doesn’t need any other necklaces with it, bc it is such a standout piece! I’d just add a few bangles, rings, and some super high wedge boots (I need high shoes bc I’m barely 5 feet tall, lol!). Thanks so much for this incredible generous giveaway!!

  26. Fanny says:

I really like it, the way you waer it. I think it highlights your feminine curves, by using a strapless dress. I’m thinking about wearing it outside a plain grey T-shirt, maybe withe some leather shorts or with some black denim shorts. I’m not sure about heels.. I actually think it would be better with flats.. Maybe sandals og Doc. martens?
thank you for the obssion. 🙂
    LOVE YOUR BLOG!!!!!

  27. Glamour Bbey. says:

I would wear it with a strapless top. White or black. The necklace will be a great eyecatcher!

    Love, Cindy

  28. Anonymous says:

  29. MinX says:

This armor necklace as a giveaway?! Dream come true! When you first posted it I seriously thought it was the coolest necklace ever and I immediately started to think of stuff I’d wear it with… That means a lot coming from a person who basically never wears necklaces!

So in my mind I’d pair it with this black strapless top I have, jeans shorts with a kind of silver coating over it, black Topshop Emma Cook boots and a black blazer with rolled up sleeves so you only see a hint of the necklace. All basic pieces, so the necklace really stands out.

Thx btw for the tip on bloglovin! Never knew it could be this easy…

  30. Anonymous says:

First, thank you very much for this giveway.
I think this is a very special piece, the wear for an evening long dress, or a monoshoulder robes for a beach party think about tanned skin stand out even more … I would love to have it not go unnoticed…..a big hug

  31. CAROLINE says:

Been reading your blog for quite a while now, and it’s lovely. I’d wear it over a short girly lace dress but under the black blazer I’d pair it with. Kind of makes it a little more bad ass instead of demure. Haha.

  32. Silvia says:

THis was actually the first post I ever saw from you and than checked out the whole page and followed you everywhere! I was wondering how this piece would look on top of a large greyish shirt with black leggings and the JC clogs! On the skin it’S amazing but will it be that awsome on a fabric too? Love it, want it! 🙂

  33. Violet frog says:

I really like this chain. 🙂 I would wear it on top of my plain-blue longsleeved maxidress. And with a big earpice on the opposite side. My too big white lace coat and cute ballerinas (to mix the ruff with the cute.)
    Have a great summer everyone!
    I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

  34. Maria says:

I’d wear it with a tube maxi dress, black, and with Camilla Skovgaard peep-toe heels. What would be interesting to try out, is to put on a layer of mesh over the Armor-piece and under the tube dress. I’ve tried layring mesh with some jewellery, and it looks to awsome, like caged in a way, when there’s an interesting, sheer layer of fabric over a fierce piece. I’d wear the Armor chains without the mesh aswell, though.

    Love your blog!

    – Maria

  35. pkjb says:

great giveaway – thanks Karen – i think i’d wear it with a plain white t-shirt so it stands out and becomes the focus of the outfit. . ck 🙂 x

  39. L. says:

You wore this gorgous piece really well! love it! i would wear is probably with a one shoulder dress/top, so that it looks like the jewellery belongs to the dress. But ofcourse there are way more gorgous combinations possibile! i Love your blog, your on my blog at the favorites!

  40. newbitchontheblog says:

just with a white see-through tank …with black straples bikini under distressed denim shorts… combat boots.. high ponytail… and a vintage chanel backpack over the other shoulder…..

    mmmmmmmmmmm 🙂

  41. Diana says:

I would wear it with a one shoulder strap dress with the chain on the bare shoulder! Also with some boots, clutch and jewelry accordingly!

  42. Fashion Butter says:

I ADORE this piece. I would wear it over some sort of white tank dress …

  43. Anca B. says:

    Lovely piece..drooling over here..

    Hi !

This piece is really like .. “THUMBS UP” ! I really love this kind of jewel to suit any boring clothes ! If I win this beautiful neck piece, I would wear it with my cream one-shoulder asymetric dress, because I adore this dress ans I always think about how can I wear it in another way evry time I wanted to. I could put the jewel on the naked shoulder or on the other one.

Or maybe with a grey tank top, covered with a denim shirt. People would guess what is this neck piece and it makes a kind of mystery !!! YEAH !

    Still love your blog,

    ^^ Sylvie P. from Paris.

  45. g_i_u_l_i_a_A. says:

That’s an amazing piece. I would wear it over an Alexander Wang inspired white cut-out tshirt, pleated pastel skirt, or floral skirt, and killer wodden heels. Actually it would be so fun to style, it’s a very versatile item!! [email protected]

  46. The Petite Blogger says:

OMG ure giving this away!!!! so generous of you! i actually crafted one like this after seeing u wearing it and been wearing it many many times now… only thing is I made mine of cheap metal and colour is slightly fading! 🙁 so im really crossing fingers i can win the real thing!

So ill be definitely wearing that armor jewelry with all my strapless tops and dresses. Really adds an edge! I also find it really nice worn underneath an off the shoulder top!

You can visit my blog to see how ive been wearing mine! 😛

    Thanks for an amazing blog!

Weel, I would wear it with a looose tanktop. The kind of tanktops where the sides underneath your arms are big and goes down to your hips. You probably know what I’m talking about 🙂
With that I would wear House of Holland stockings, the ones named “Super Suspender” and my Topshop boots. The boots are the ordinary ones that Rumi (Fashiontoast) is wearing all the time and MANY other bloggers.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed. 😀

teamed with a fitted leather mini, laddered+ripped topshop loveheart opaque tights, teamed with grungy combat lace up boots,

  53. Serina says:

New follower! love the blog 🙂

I would probably wear it with a nude one shoulder dress in a sort of chiffon fabric. I think it would look good against a girly dress.

    Something like this : http://www.asos.com/Lipsy/Lipsy-One-Shoulder-Grecian-Dress/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=995475&SearchQuery=one shoulder&Rf-100=Dresses+-+Evening&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Sienna

I’m not a huge fan of Lipsy lol but this is the closest thing I could find to what I mean!

    Serina x

  54. Sian says:

I’d wear it with a plain black boobtube, super tight black skinnies, a subtle belt, hair scraped back in a sleek bun, all the rings I own, and Jeffrey Campbell’s Xanadu wedges.

Or to change it up, with a really floaty pastel coloured dress, such as this one: http://www.asos.com/Asos/Asos-Voile-Bubble-Hem-Dress/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=960302&cid=8799&Rf-200=25,20,9,6,5,11,16&Rf95=944&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=NudePink with killer shoes like these: http://www.asos.com/Asos/Asos-Hank-Stud-Buckle-Platform-Sandal/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=986451&cid=4172&Rf-200=16&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Grey

Love your blog, and this giveaway is so unique! Thanks 🙂

  55. stephany tigeryouth says:

i would wear it with my strapless kaki-maxi-dress and my killerhigh black wedgeheels!
    xx

  56. Chloe says:

wow, just amazing. They way you’re wearing it is perfect, the hard and worn down looking chains are a sharp contrast to the very delicate dress. I personally love the way it looks on bare skin, so I’d personally love to wear it with simple strapless and one-shoulder pieces – maybe a romper? But its so great because in winter you could definately pull it off on top of a simple long sleeved, short, crew neck jersey dress with some givenchy-like heels.
Love, love, LOVE your blog karen!

  57. Lena says:

I’ve been a follower and I can’t believe you’re giving away this gorgeous piece.
How would I wear it? I would try different ways. On a top or on my bare shoulders..no clue. But the fun is experimenting with something new 🙂

Big fan of your blog by the way! 🙂

  59. Anastasia says:

I wouldn’t wear that necklace on my shoulder…
instead i’d wear it the way a regular necklace should be worn and then i’d take a belt and loop it through the lower loop
i think that’d be a new innovative way to wear it:)

    you’re stunning

  60. Donnaadash says:

    Hey Keren,

First of all i just want to say ditto on the amazing blog and constant updates:) I really admire you’re style. Personally, I would wear the Armor chain with a strapless bikini…..(yes bikini…lol) simply because its summer already and everyone who’s anyone would be at the beach and that just screams unique and very creative. Have a great weekend.Thanks:-)

  61. τreciä says:

This piece is quite a find. I would prolly wear this with a no shoulder jumper…

  62. Anonymous says:

I’d wear it over a white t shirt and high waisted black skinny jeans
    cheers 🙂

    B.

  63. I am the Yellow Soldier. says:

    Such an amazing giveaway, Karen!
For more contrast I would wear it over a white boxy tshirt, sleeves cut off at the shoulders, the front tucked into black skinny jeans, also black leather boots on my feet to keep it simple, because the chain will stand out so much on its own. I would probably wear my hair in a loose, low chignon and accessorize sparsly, maybe only with a big silver cuff on my wrist.
But seriously, there are so many ways you could wear this, endless possibilities! Anyways…amaaazing!

  64. Berta says:

This Armor chain is amazing. I would wear it with studded denim short, and an Aéexander Wang Tee, with huge rings.

  65. Kitty says:

I think I would wear this, with a shirt I made myself – it’s plain white, and it has sleeves, but the instead of the sleeves connecting at the shoulders, the sleeves are connected further down. Which would mean that the shoulders are bare – perfect for sporting something extraordinary. (-:

  66. Superfluamente says:

I love it. I think UME is the best piece of Armor’s collection. I’ve thought a lot about how I’d wear it, but I’m completely obsessed by the way YOU wear it.
Another cool idea is to use it with a long dress/body with a plunging neckline on the back. Of course without any other jewel.

  67. Ann says:

That necklace is AMAZING!! Even though I love how it looks on bare skin, I think I’d like to try wearing it over a tight black long-sleeved minidress with strong pointed shoulders, bare legs, and black wedges. The drapes on the necklace would look really cool over an interesting shoulder structure!

  68. Nagasaki175 says:

I would wear the Armor Chain may different ways: one, would be with a cute lace dress, to give the dress some edge. Another would be on a night out, so a strapless dress or something a glamorus. I would also put it with a pait of destress jean and tube top and leather jacket for a very edgy feel.

  69. Christina says:

I would wear it over a white or grey t shirt I think! To give that extra oomph

  70. Nemerae says:

I love that dres.. and the necklace!!
I’d wear it over a LBD matching the line of the neck of the dress with the Armor Chain.. it would look absolutely amazing!
Adding you to my blogroll 😉
    xx

  71. Ivana says:

ah! such a great giveaway for us,the bloglovin’ followers. I deff like how you are matching it!It’s a great day and night outfit! Would also try it as a head peace (a hiipe/chain band) and of course with a white laced corset to give it more edge!

  72. Solarium . says:

My high school graduation is coming up and we’re only allowed to wear white. I’m talking head-to-toe white, so naturally the jewelery needs to be silver. My dress has a white mesh neck, and I think the contrast between the Armor chain and the dress could be very interesting and won’t get me into trouble on my last day.

  73. Tinja says:

It looks amazing! I would wear it with a black outfit, and try for a “hard” look, edgy, a bit rock. I see a black dress and combat boots, like Xena going to a ball 😀 i would keep other accessories to the minimum and let the necklace stand out. I would just have my statement rings and bracelets, all silver and it so the right style for the necklace!

    http://tinjablog.blogspot.com

PS. i follow you on blogger & bloglovin’

  74. Yoshimi says:

I’d wear it with a basic black one-shoulder top, skinny jeans, and studded flats!

  75. Cortney says:

i would wear it all the time, with simple outfits to jazz them up, white tanktops and black skinnies and a heel, or even hiding under some flannel, peeking out and showing off a little bit of rocker chick badassery.

    i absolutely love that necklace!

  76. Sam says:

Thank you Karen for this opportunity!

I would totally love to win that piece….it’s so special! I just bought a very sheer top and I would love to see what it looks like wearing it under the shirt. If that won’t work I would combine it with a floral print mini dress and some black combat boots.

And btw…bloglovin made my life a lot easier 🙂

  77. Jen says:

I would rock this with an office appropriate outfit so that happy hour afterwards has a great show and tell piece 🙂

  78. Tiffany says:

I’ve been in love with the Armor neck piece since you did the post. It’s just such a beautiful and unique piece of jewelry…definitely something you could treasure forever. I would wear it with everything especially this flower strapless dress that I have. It would be perfect for summer.

Thank you so much for this giveaway and for being a constant source of inspiration. I absolutely love your blog and I use Bloglovin’ to keep updated on all your posts!

  79. Elle says:

Love how you paired it with a strapless dress, but I would definitely want to try it with a long shredded top/dress and some killer heels !

  80. malika says:

I looove this armor piece. The first thing that came to my mind was a little unusual actually, but I’d love to give it a try – I have this plain black sari at home, and I love draping my sari in different ways, esp. to show off any jewelry I’m wearing with it. I’d drape the sari so that it wouldn’t obscure the piece – maybe something like this http://sareedreams.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/Sassy-saree-Sakhi.jpg but with a different blouse.

I’d also love to wear it with a daily outfit, like a black Topshop bodysuit with beige harem pants and gladiator sandals or heels.

  81. so_crispy says:

i love love love the ume necklace, & I would want to wear it all the time, even to work! I have an internship this summer, so this is exactly how i’d wear it:

    http://www.polyvore.com/ume_mor_necklace_contest/set?id=18756576

although i love how you styled it, i can’t have bare shoulders in a hospital setting, so this allows me the best of both worlds. it gives my conservative work attire a little bit of edge 🙂 thanks for the opportunity to win this!

p.s. i’ve been following you on bloglovin for a longggg while now, love it 🙂

  82. lauren alexis says:

    hey karen,
i would love to have a go for the chance to win the UME neck piece.

i would probably try to wear it over things like super thin tanks (or this beautiful while silk bodice that i already have in mind). I think it would also look pretty great as a poolside accessory to add to a simple one piece swimsuit.

  83. Natalie says:

    Hi Karen,

I would wear the necklace with a white cotton tee from AA, tucked into pleated black trousers rolled up and cuffed at the bottom) with a pair of nude heels– my hair would be pulled back into a tight bun, Red lipstick from Nars, diamond studs and a plain black cocktail ring on my left hand.

Or I would wear it with a strapless evergreen pant jumpsuit, pink lipstick (Snob from MAC-which is an awesome color that would look so good on you)with my nude heels from Nine West, my vintage Ralph Lauren portfolio-looking tan clutch and a few rings (because I love rings).

AND I would be sooo happy to have this piece!!

Thanks for being awesome and creative and always updating (& looking fabulous)!

    xox

  84. rilili says:

That is a really nice and generous offer!

I would wear it with a one shoulder top or dress or like you with a bandeau top.
It could also look good with on top of a transparent mesh top…
I guess that I would experiment a lot with a gorgeous piece like this… if I am lucky enough to win it!

  85. Madigan says:

OH man, how WOULDN’T I wear that? I think I’d wear it with something a bit more conservative but on the fun side. With that I really feel finding the right accessories to accent it would be ideal, and of course the right shoes! I think a white or black dress with lace accent and some metal woven in it with chain accented shoes. I might have to make it myself! Mmm…

  86. anna sl says:

I would wear it with a simple outfit to give the neckpiece the attention it deserves. An outfit could be: a white see-through tanktop paired with light trashed denim shorts, black thigh high socks and some sick wedges.

  87. the style crusader says:

oh man this is seriously pretty incredible. their site has so many incredible pieces on it. i love the way you are wearing it with the strapless black dress. i think over bare skin it looks pretty great and really shows off the piece. equally though i think it would look rad over a distressed plain old round necked white or black t-shirt – with some cut off jean shorts, messy hair and big chunky wedges. i think it’s awesome…. and would definitely bring out the rocker chick in any girl.

p.s. follow you on blogger & bloglovin. xx

  88. Nikki Ashley says:

I would let the armor piece do all the talking. I’d wear it with a simple tank some type of skinny pant or legging and then edgy boots or wedges! thanks for the chance to enter!

  89. May says:

Thanks for the giveaway! I would wear that over my left shoulder with a simple strapless or one-shouldered top or dress so I can still carry a purse on my right shoulder. I would not wear with any other accessories to let that beautiful piece of art be the focus of the outfit.

  90. Rachel says:

So I just tried to post but it didn’t work I don’t think so I will try again! I love the way you have it styled with a strapless dress! The first thing that came to my mind is this zara tshirt I have with a photo of a bohemian styled girl on the front. I would love to wear that with short destroyed denim shorts, black converse, crazy wavy hair, and lots of bracelets and rings! Definitely! I am already getting excited about that outfit! haha 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway and your amazing posts!

  91. Camilla says:

Love that prety armor jewellery 😉
I think I would wear it with simple long tank top (or maybe one shoulder top), black leggings or skinny (maybe distressed) jeans, black hat and wedges. Also, don’t forget about wayfarer sunglasses.
    Something like this

I think that outfit must be simple to make jewellery look amazing. However, I like your way so much 😉

  93. Emma says:

At night i’d wear it with stylestalkers conspiracy dress. With it’s one sleeve it seems to be made for this armor piece.

for a everyday look i’d wear it really simple, maybe just with a bodycon dress and motorcycle boots.
I think it’d also look great in combination with denim… hmm just have so many ideas of how to combine this delicious piece :):)

you’re rocking it too! i love you blog, i’m a follower on bloglovin (most genious site ever)

Hmm, as an office-dweller, I would rock it with something work appropriate like a button-down shirt, or with a floral ladylike print to get some contradiction happening. Thanks for the great blog and giveaway!

    Ooh! Sign me up.
I’d wear that piece with a really wispy cream off shoulder tee so it just barely peeks out, light blue slightly destroyed skinnies and gray gladiator “inspired” (not too dramatic) sandals with a bit of hardware. Nothing too drastic, just very flowy and casual. Slightly beachy. :]

  97. Steph says:

I have absolutely been in love with that UME neck piece since you posted it to the point of wanting to try to recreate it myself. In terms of how I would wear it, being more into black and darker colors towards I’d probably wear it layered over my fitted black tank that looks kind of like this (except more fitted)

    http://store.americanapparel.net/rsabb365.html?cid=26

so that the shoulder and neck part line up with it, almost looking like a detail on the tank. I’d then pair it with my knee-ish length, highwaisted blue crushed velvet looking skirt. One may think blue and black, but the blue color of the skirt works really well with black. In terms of shoes, it would depend on my mood when I wear it but I’m probably a nice pair of heels to finish it off.

I would wear it daily and to special occacions. I would mix the raw chain with something romantic, like a flower shirt or dress, so it doesn’t get a too heavy look. In the evening I would wear it with a strapless cocktail dress in a cool color.

ps. I love your post about Mr. Foots, I am too the biggest Erykah fan! 🙂

i’m new to bloglovin’, so happy to follow your blog which i’ve already done on google reader for a while now 🙂 this neck piece is so awesome. you must feel like a frikkin’ amazon warrior woman wearing it! i must have one! i’d wear it more like a sweet & girly outfit with that bad-ass piece of jewelry to edge it out…like a pure white lacy or cotton eyelet strapless dress, these rachel roy sandals http://bit.ly/apriPh & enough forever 21 double rings & stacked bangles i could fit on my little wrists & fingers 🙂

  114. May says:

what a great piece! i would love, love, love to have this. i am familiar with armor jewelry and i’ve always wanted one of their pieces (i’ve considered making similar pieces by myself, but i haven’t gotten around to that yet). i think this would look great with something that is asymmetrical or one shouldered – like the american apparel one should knit dress that i’ve seen you wear on your blog before! i really hope i win!

    best,
    May

  115. Teresa says:

The UME necklace is absolutely amazing! I would wear it discreetly under a blazer paired with shorts and heels and induce some mystery for those gawkers. It would also look amazing with an edgy summer romper or strapless maxi. I think it would be surprisingly versatile!

I’m a simple girl so i would rock it with a white beater and some fab shredded jeans with some killer wedges…. Or I might pair the beater with something more feminin like a full skirt or lace leggings….

  117. Cynthia says:

The neck piece is to die for! I would definitely showcase mine with a strapless cream colored chiffon dress with a softer silhouette, along with simple black or gunmetal platforms. I think the neck piece would give the feminine dress an offbeat urban edge. I would keep the shoes simple to keep all eyes on the neckline. Thanks for the giveaway!

  119. Rosanna says:

I’m loving the armor piece! I would wear it with a black, strapless maxi dress with a pair of studded wedges I just got from Thailand. A Bal city would look great with this too!

  120. j and k says:

Hello! Very cool, great giveaway. I’d wear it with plain Gap khakis, white tank top, mens button-up shirt (worn open) and black bra. I like the juxtaposition of nothing-to-see-hear ordinary with a peek of originality and hint of sex.

  121. brandi says:

ahhh i’d wear it with some dark skinny jeans, a black top, and my black jeffrey campbell potion boots and this beautiful dark purple lipstick I have! get totally vamp with it!

  122. MissC says:

    Hey girl hey… lol,
Well i might try to wear it over a v-neck with dark jeans and tough boots to create an edgy look. Even though like yourself I love the hippy style, edgy makes me excited and i love the idea of this one peice simply transforming the whole outfit which is ver easy for anyone to do. 😉

  123. Maggie says:

    Love your blog!

Would wear the piece with either a body-con/one shoulder dress or a looser/more sheer/T-shirt quality one shoulder tunic/dress (on the side without the strap in both scenarios) with chunky platforms.

  124. mary says:

This is awesome! I’d def. wear base my outfit around this so it would have to stand out! There are so many ways I would wear this. My fave would probabaly be with a mini dress (prob black, but any other solid color works) that is long sleeve with a crew neck (AA dress in black: http://store.americanapparel.net/rsakwsdc.html?cid=29) and awesome shoes (Atacomas?!)! Depending on the weather and the shoes, I’d wear pantyhose (sheer, dotted, colored, textured!) or thigh-highs.

My other options would be to later the piece. I’d wear two — one on each shoulder/arm! With the same outfit or any crewneck or tube dress/top. Also, I wonder if you can wear both of the circle parts on your neck with the fringes hanging down, so just as a necklace.

    Anyways, thanks for this Karen!

AS SOON AS I SAW THIS PEICE I WAS AMAZED! NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT, FROM THAT DAY ON I’VE BEEN GOOGLING EVERY KINDS OF BODY JEWELRY. XOXOXOXO

  126. Kate says:

omg, i’m kind of obsessed with that necklace. I would wear it with a white v neck tee, some grey skinnies, and a pair of aviators. Gotta keep it simple with a statement piece that gorgeous! 😉

  127. Polliani says:

I just love your blog girl

  128. Dawn Ang says:

I’d pair it with red vintage high-waist leather skinnies, insanely baggy cream scoop-neck knit sweater with one shoulder showing- (i the ume piece is beautiful on bare skin), jessica simpson black dany pumps, hands cluttered with silver rings and the alexander wang leopard diego bag.

it’s a really beautiful piece of jewellery.

  129. Lovin' life says:

I would wear the necklace with my black (a bit high waisted) tregging with leather knee panels on it. On the tregging I would wear a black silk see trough top and let it puff over a little bit, and wear a black lace bra underneath it. Because the neck piece is already such an eyecatcher itself I would choose not to wear too much other jewellery with it besides some nice rings. I would rock the whole outfit with my black leather ankle boots and a suede (nude) duffle bag. To finish the whole look I would wear some subtle eyeliner, dark red lipstick and a matching nail polish .

  130. Louise says:

I would wear this beautiful jewellery with my bloodred non sholder dress and a pair of black high heels. That would look soo nice! I just love red and black together.

  131. enna_x_x says:

I love that necklace, absolutely amazing!! I would wear it with a black asymmetrical dress, (the type with one long sleeve and the other cut off) But I think it looks stunning the way you wear it with a strapless dress too….oohh so many possibilities!!! 😀

  132. Sarah says:

love the armor! I’d wear it with a sheer long sleeve top underneath and an assymetrical dress! and to keep the grung factor up, team it with skull rings and wrist chains and say..combat boots! xo

I’d wear it naked just so that anybody, really anybody would see it’s awesomeness.

    Hey,

I’m getting married in August and I would totally wear this with my ivory one-shoulder grecian type wedding dress (it’s inspired by a dress from the Marchesa resort 2010 collection). I would love to have something unexpected like this on the other shoulder, to balance the pretty chiffon dress and make the whole thing a little bit more “me”, since we’re not the most traditional couple and our wedding can hopefully reflect that.

  139. katy says:

i would wear it under a vintage grateful dead t-shirt i’ve cut and customized to be a loose tank. with cut-offs and my short ankle cowboy boots, perfect summer outfit with a bit of unexpected-ness with the chains peaking out from under the tank.

  140. e. jay says:

It actually goes with a lot of my summer wardrobe…strapless tops and dresses, etc.

However, the thing I have in mind is w/ my nude AA asymmetric shoulder dress…the thing fits like a dream, and I have these awesome flat boots I’d love to wear w/ it, but I really think the necklace would bring it all together.

I’m really one of those people who usually combines pieces spur of the moment (which makes me terrible at packing) but as soon as I saw this armor piece in your other post, I commented about the fashion vision I had, lol.

  141. Mademoiselle Sky says:

  145. Anonymous says:

The necklace speaks volumes and should not be complicated, I have a simple black lace strapless boob tube top from H&M, with Black highwaisted skinny jeans from American Apparel, all black converse…because running for the Central Line from Bethnal Green tube station at 9am is tiring in heels, my beat up vintage leather satchel…topped of with my black Jill Sander for Uniqlo mac, as rain in England is a constant trend…this definately deserves to be worn during the day so everyone can see its Fabulosity,,,

    Thanks [email protected]

  146. Katie says:

I love the neck piece (I say piece because it makes much more of a statement than a necklace). I would wear it this summer with jean cutoffs and an oversized burnout white tank. Having the chains accessorize a shoulder would make a statement with such a basic outfit. I’d probably wear Minnetonka fringe booties or sandals and of course oversized sunglasses and tons of rings. A summer sun hat and a studded bag would set off the outfit. I would wear this neck piece day and night because it can easily transform an outfit, giving it that extra edge.

Thanks. Love your blog!!! [email protected]

  151. Nerissa The Dreamer says:

Well i love how the necklace looks on you ! I think i’d wear it with a plain string top and keep it simple with a pair of skinny jeans. I love knee high boots so i would probably ad knee high boots to it to make it look edgy. because of this freezing london weather i top off my look with a vintage leather jacket (but i would leave the zip open so you can still see the necklace). I add a a small leather bag as well as one or two rings on my finger.

Either way this a beautiful piece of jewellery and can go well with lots of looks but this is my opinion of how i would wear it. Whoever wins it is so lucky ! 🙂

  154. Anna says:

Oh my god ! I loved the neck-piece the first time I saw it, (thanks to you & your blog) and fell in love immediately !
I just love how you wear it, so I’d take inspiration therefrom. I would wear it with a strapless dress, or with a dress or top with one shoulder. The neck-piece would certainly give it some volume and it would look amazing.
It would look good to a loose top to (so loose so you can see the underwear beneath, I just love that) that would certainly give the look some edge, and to not make it look to cheap, I would wear it to skinny or wide (think 70’s) jeans, or a long skirt.

Thanks for all ! // [email protected]

  155. G says:

    This is one cool giveaway!

I would wear it under a cream see through top, something flowy and airy, and very elegant and feminine to contrast with the strength of the chains. Definitely pair it with a pair of light colored structured shorts and some nicely worn vintage boots. Can`t forget my hat = ]

  156. Brandi says:

I follow you with Google Reader. I used to use bloglines. Lots of different options I suppose. I would just die to win one of those pieces. I am so in love with them. I think it would be cool to do something maybe more unexpected, like wear it over a colored, close fitting tee shirt and a little floofy skirt with awesome tights (of course). I think you could really play with layers instead of just having it on bare skin. brandimthompson @ gmail dot com

  157. Helen says:

A while ago i cut up an old t-shirt and made it one shouldered. It’s just white and simple, so i’d add the Armor neck piece, rings and my black high-waisted full skirt for a preppy-gone-bad/st-trinians look – urghh your giveaways are soo sick!
oh & I’m on bloglovin, not sure if that was part of the criteria though x

  158. Holly says:

I think a piece like this needs to both stand out, and meld well with the ensemble. I loved how you wore it with the flowing strapless dress. I think I would wear it with a black strapless jumpsuit. With a jumpsuit it would appear as a strap or sleeve of some kind. Love this neck piece, it is too fabulous and too unique for words!

Thank you for the contest 🙂

If I were to win that magnificent piece, I would wear a bright coral strapless shirt, so the piece would have a nice contrast, ripped up jean short (for an edgy effect), and royal blue heel sandals with studs on it. I would keep the accessories to a minimum by wearing small diamond studs and a nice Michael Kors watch.

Hope you see my vision 🙂

    Peace&love!

  168. .gjo says:

i LOVE that a-symmetrical pieces are more recolonized now,
that chain is so unique, it would be tough to storm up an outfit to bring it justice.
but if i were to wear it, it would be with an strapless short dress, paired with heels and missed matched rings.
depending on the occasion, the armour necklace can bring an outfit totally around. you should post some pictures of you wearing it differently! i think it has great potential!

  169. Lindsay With An "A" says:

I have been eyeing this piece for some time now! I adore it! I am getting married in November. I am thinking of changing into a shorter, sassier dress for the reception. I was thinking I would style the 2nd dress a little unexpected. (i.e. Add a funky headband or head piece…pair killer black accessories with the white dress…OR I could put the UME neck piece on with it) That would look edgy – yet classy! Now my mind is reeling! ha 🙂

Well first of all, I’ve had an issue with showing off my arms(I wear cardigans constantly). My family and I are planning to go to Pigeon Fork, North Carolina in June even though I’ll be spending my summer in the mountains I would love to keep it edgy without sweating out my clothes, with the body chain my outfits would remain chic. I’d wear it with one of my fave long black tanks that I rarely wear, along with a pair of denim shorts and a pair of metallic converse I adore.

I would also love to play around with it and come up with different ways to wear it, other than the intended way. Necklace, hanging straight down? Back piece? Thick, loose bracelet? No way to tell if any of that would work unless I actually won it!

  178. Vanja Loncar says:

    Hi Karen,

This is surely an outstanding and unique piece of a jewelry. I would wear it with very simple outfit coz the piece itself is such a statement.
My outfit would look like this: http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/1566/armorjewelry.jpg

A bit low down, I chose A Wang clothes and shoes so this way I could emphasized this wonderful body chain.

    Wonderful giveaway Karen 🙂

    P.S. Also I’m a follower on Bloglovin.

  179. Miss Scarlett says:

I’m already following you on Bloglovin 🙂
This piece of jewelry would look great with most things that aren’t too detailed, so I would wear it with almost everything from a one-colored dress like you have, to over tanktops or shirts.

  180. The Wonder Seeker says:

Wonderful giveaway. I would wear it with a lace one shoulder top, silk shorts and sky high heels.

  181. gwendy says:

i’ve read all the comments and you are going to have a hard time deciding who to give this great piece away to. the outfit ideas on here are awesome!
i would want to wear this to work (and i work in a pretty conservative environment) so i would probably wear it in “secret” during the day with a cream silk shell and high waisted skirt, covered with my flounced suit jacket. and then, for happy hour…i’d shock em all. 🙂

  182. aubrey murray says:

get this: I would wear the body chain necklace to prom! ours is late this year–I’ve picked out a glorious yellow and gray strapless dress and it needs some pizazz and toughness. The body armor is perfect. I can’t wait for it to get caught in my corsage. A little poetic, eh?

  183. Lin_me says:

    Lovely post as usual 😀
I’d wear it with a strapless white and grey acid wash maxi dress with my grey C’est Moi JC’s and a printed turquoise head scarf.

    xx

  184. Nicole says:

How would I wear that piece? CONSTANTLY!
I’d wear it with everything strapless. Always with badass shoes, and not too much other jewellery so it really stands out. Oh, and my hair is about the size of a large wooly mammoth so probably hair up to rock this chain. Otherwise it’d look like a weasel trap after a few minutes.
That chain is the bomb and I lurve your blog!

  185. Khadija says:

    I’d wear it forever.
Over a basic crewneck tee, opaque and pastel coloured so that people’d SEE it, short pencil skirt and black sky high ankle boots for that rockstar effect

hi, oh i love this piece. too many ways to wear it, over cloth under cloth…
but what i definitely would want to try is doing some asymetical stuff with my hair. one big braid over one shoulder or a big knot on the non-armor-side or something like that.

Thanks and Love yah blog

  188. Kesi says:

oh, wow! that piece would transform any outfit, for sure. i’m a college student so all i wear is basics. i’d wear it with a strapless white or lavender top with levi cutoffs and black leather thong sandals. neat bun at the middle of my head. no other jewelry, black or cement polish. for a night out, i’d agree with some of the past comments – all black of course 🙂

  189. LADIVASOSA says:

I would end up fashioning it as some kind of head gear or face mask combining it with a sensual tank dress and lethal heels.

  190. Lizz K says:

I’d love to toughen up a girly dress with that piece. Perhaps a strapless, white cotton flowy dress with motorcycle boots!

  191. *tink says:

I would wear that necklace all the time!
But I would definitely rock it with my printed jersey strapless wide leg jumpsuit and my pair of zara clog platforms with a thrifted satchel bag.

  192. *tink says:

I would definitely wear that necklace whenever i got a chance! For the first time I would rock the necklace with my strapless printed jersey wide leg jumpsuit and a pair of clog heels. Then also my thrifted satchel bag to match!

  193. Tiffany says:

    ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES!
    1. strapless bustier & baggy harem jeans w loads of huge rings & sky high heels w sox

    2. colorful, watercolor print, one shoulder top w/ billowing sleeve, high waisted jean flares, platforms & a floppy hat. w/ my rings, of course.

    3. black, backless, maxi halter empire dress w/ a studded belt @ the waist, gladiators & a huge hobo.

just to name a few… 🙂 thanks for the giveaway! so excited as i’ve been wanting to purchase this exact piece but can’t afford it right now :/ love ur style & personality!

  194. Le Need says:

The question is how wouldn’t i wear this piece? I totally love it.
Dressed up or down.. this is the perfect day to night statement piece! I’d walk around naked if i could parade this show piece off! But seeings as not many would appreciate it…heres what i’d go with instead…

I think a felsh coloured bodice and simple bottom half such as skinnies or a leather skirt would make this item stand out to the max and look as if it’s all i’m wearing.
Teaming it with vintage military cropped jacket for the evening with some jeffrey campbell clogs and silver knuckle rings would be HOT! Then i would look like true armour 😉
Also adding a cropped lace top under for layering would be great.

I hope i get to try this outfit!! Love your blog and most certainly follow with blog lovin!!

I have been following your blog for a while now and have found constant inspiration from your style… as for what to wear with the armour… I just purchased a gorgeous peachy/coral tulip shaped skirt which I intend to wear with a body con one-shouldered body suit. The armor would look incredible with the whole ensemble.

    Thank you!

  197. metermouse says:

Delicious necklace!! I’m thinking I’d like to wear it with an asymetrical one sleeved top, skinny jeans, red booties, my boyfriends fedora and a whole lot of eyeliner… or a halter, giving the effect of a half sleeve… with a mini and gladiators.

  198. metermouse says:

Absolutely divine necklace!! I would love to wear it with an asymmetrical one shoulder shirt, skinny jeans, red booties, my boyfriends fedora and a whole lot of eyeliner… Thanks for posting the giveaway!

  199. cutie says:

I have been coveting that particular piece of body jewelry since the first time you profiled it. I would use it to add a little rock to my typically girly look. I’ve been day dreaming about pairing it with my black strapless mini dress with the sweetheart neckline, tucked into my high waisted, pleated dolly skirt and my snakeskin print, high heeled, open toed oxfords.

  200. Lucila says:

I’m so glad you’re making a giveaway for this amazing piece I’ve been obssesed with it since you made the post! 🙂 I would wear it with a grey or black cami, a pair of light distressed jeans, a pair of black ankle boots I own which got a cool open zipper and probably a nice statement ring, thank you so much for the oportunity!

  201. holly x says:

awesome giveaway- im not following you yet, but will be as of 5 seconds time…
to be quite honest, I wouldn’t really bother with the whole outfit shebang just yet with that, but I would wear it as rock-glam poolside with a black bandeau bikini, mirrored ray ban aviators, and a mojito… watch out for bizarre tan lines!
    properly a statement piece 😀

That neck peice is AMAZING. I would wear it with my favorite royal blue silk and lace slip dress and some studded ankle boots at night with beach hair.

  208. Emily says:

I think I would actually try wearing this over a crisp fitted white dress shirt, with the top part tucked underneath the collar. It would look tough and unexpected (maybe a little Balmain-y?), especially with black, wide-leg tuxedo pants or super wide-leg jeans and platform sandals. The metal on white would really pop, and still be pretty badass.

Love you blog, keep up the inspiring posts!

Oh well gave it a go! I love the chain, and in a dream world I would wear it to my graduation ball with a pair of Topshop lace-up wedges, and a white strapless silky dress from a pop up shop on old brick lane.

love the blog, keep up the good work! Emily in London ([email protected])

    many ways!
one: with a long sleeve striped shirt (or sold) i have, and for summer with shorts or skinnys for night (paired with heels)
two: with a white tank top and jeans, spice up the classic
three: a grey dress (short or long sleeved) but so it’s a very subtle look

I’ll stop at three (it is my lucky number)

  213. Nadette says:

i just LOVE this necklace, i remember the first time you posted about. I have this strapless little bubble dress thats so feminine, i think this necklace would create just a touch of edginess. and it would rock to have statement piece of jewelry to wear around Spain when i go in July. 😀

    Hi Karen,
I first came across the amazing Armor UME body chain while browsing online and fell in love with it but couldn’t afford to purchase it. I have photos of it stuck up in my wardrobe because I like looking at it and dreaming that I might be able to purchase it… then I saw Rumi of fashiontoast and you wear it on your blogs and fell that much harder… I think this shoulder piece is a wearable work of art. I have a tight turtle neck dress with a shoulder cut out and I think the Ume body chain would enhance this dress incredibly, I also think it would look cool to wear it over a tight white long sleeve top or my aa mesh dress… and for next summer (we are almost in winter here in Australia) I have an array of pretty dresses (strapless, one shoulder etc) and tops that would work perfectly with it if I am to be the lucky recipient of this prize. I would love and admire it and give it plenty of use if it actually existed in my wardrobe!
    Thank you kindly,

I’d like to try it with a floaty asymmetric dress in a dark floral as a juxtapose for the epic rock of the what do you call it? chain/body jewellery. I saw Jennifer Lopez on British TV in some insane heels. A huge clear platform but skinny simple straps. Also I’m starting a mini brand called Quo Amino in London. When the website it up and all the clothes are made I would love to send you some (origami) leaflets.

  220. Paintingtestimony says:

I would wear it with a vintage strappy top I just picked up that has beautiful pale pink feathers on the sides as well as attached to the shoulder straps (the contrast of the chain and feathers would look rather rock n’ roll, no?) with my H&M black skinny trousers with zippers at the ankles, and my new pale pink strappy leather platform MRKT shoes. Simple colors but with an edge…And not overdone! 🙂

  221. Diana says:

That neckpiece is killah! I’d wear it with a black body-con dress and kick-ass booties, or just a black bandeau bikini! With my hair in a high top knot and black mirrored aviators!

  222. caylee says:

karen, i really want to wear this neck piece with a short strapless black romper! it would add just the right amount of edge to a piece that is normally very cutesy. my hair would be worn in a messy bun to show off the piece. a black leather belt would be put around the romper to define my waist. i’d of course forgo a necklace but still wear all of my signature bracelets and rings, and then i’d finish it off with my asos brown ankle boots (http://www.asos.com/Asos/Asos-Amigo-Leather-Buckle-Ankle-Boot/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=876276). so perfect for a hot summer day!

  223. Kazy says:

    Hi!

It looks great on you & I love your blog! I would wear it with a great pair of 1940s style high waited moss green trousers (men’s style!) that I just bought, which I will wear with a peach lack body suit. That necklace would make the outfit not only chic & tailored, but a bit more funky too!

    Thanks!

  224. Katt says:

Wow, that piece is wow. It’s delicate and hard. It’s modern yet medieval. If I had that piece, I would pair it with a very proper Audrey Hepburn-esque outfit for that mad juxtaposition but seriously, it’s such a gorgeous piece I think it would go with a lot and might work on even a very loud colorful shirt. It looks great on just bare skin though so maybe I’ll have to just prance around with it on with some cute undies and a sliver or a shirt. 😉

  225. Anonymous says:

In my head the vision is oh, so clear 😀 That piece is obviously made to be worn with one shoulder black playsuit, that has harem pants and a higher waist… High heeled studded clogs and huge dark sunglasses 🙂 I’m sorry if I’m describing it weirdly, my english is not that perfect, but I hope you understood me 🙂 Kisses from Croatia

karen oh my god you have no idea how super this giveaway is! ever since i saw you blog about the neck piece i’ve been looking around for it everywhere!

my formal is coming up in two months and this chain would look just absolutely perfect with a loose off-the-shoulder (inspired by you obviously) or backless dress im planning to wear.

most of the other comments would wear this chain with black for a night out but i say NO girls, team it with a deep blue or emerald. then you would really stand out!

thanks for the opportunity, it would mean so much to me if i won. its amazing really how one item can really jazz up an entire outfit.

Have wanted an armor piece for sooo long now. Thanks for doing this giveaway.
For ultimate impact I’d wear this one on top of a fitted but androgenous white shirt/suit look with wide leg trousers, thin black tie and smoothed side parted hair, red or deep/bright plum lipstick. i think this would really play up the masculinity and military epaulette aspect of this sculptural piece, and be really striking.
I would also wear on sunny laid back days with thigh high boots and my short layered chiffon white dress with victorian collar or old grey fitted iron maiden t shirt, mini skirt, leg suspenders and stockings and chunky mid heeled bikery/cowboy boots.
    thanks

  233. Tastes Eclectic Fashion says:

That piece is such must have jewelry. I imagine it would look good most everything I own. The first thing I thought of pairing it with is a long black skirt made dress. I tie metal chains around my waist and wear lace tights. Throw in some wedges and I’m ready to go!

  234. Melissa says:

I love your blog – it is great daily inspiration for new ways to wear some of my favorite pieces. You have a great eye for putting together an unexpected ensemble… Exactly what the UME neckpiece by Armor requires.

If I were lucky enough to win this gorgeous necklace I would wear it with a floor length dress with my short combat booties and a collection of some of my favorite ring (the more the better!).

While all black would be chic, I love how your paired it with the navy. I have been really in to anything and everything navy lately and have just the dress.

    Thanks for the give-a-way! 🙂

    Hey Karen!!
I love this piece like the rest of your followers! It’s so eccentric and bold!

If I won the piece I’d wear it with the following:
daytime: my forever 21 foral romper, grey slouch booties with chains, silver pyramid studs, and a mix of silver bracelets on the arm w/o the chain and
evening: over my american apparel double u dress in charcoal with plain black pumps!

Haha kiddin, i’m gonna be bold and not say black so for example with a tight white dress with a zipper running from top to bottom (on the front side) a feather-earring on my left ear, fake side-cut and killer heals! And lots of rings! Rocknroll baby

    Lots of love from Sweden!

Body armor with a nude bodycon dress….barefoot. Hot, simple, and focused on the accessory. =)

  241. Laita says:

I looooooooooove this neck piece!!! I would wear it one of two ways –

for the daytime i would team it up with a neutral coloured fitted strapless top – nude, white or grey – a pair of black or dark grey harem pants and to finish the outfit, a pair of ankle length cut out boots. because the outfit is pretty casual apart from the neck piece, i would bang on some red lipstick, reflective aviators and put my hair up in a purposefully messy bun to give it that effortless look.

for the night time, i would put this neckpiece on either this soft pale peach one armed dress, so it could drape over my bare shoulder. the neckpiece would perfectly complement this dress as it is quite short and funky, ruched from the bottom to the waist level. team with a pair of black mary janes and this would be another winner

  242. SANDRA says:

Oh honey thank you for this amazing chance!!

I would wear it over my wang one shoulder grey bra top and a super thin white tank and loads of other grungey/skull/crosses necklaces, long messy hair, so many rings that I would have truble picking up stuff and occasionally-falling-over-high-platforms

then I would just piss around the streets with shades on with the look that says: What? what are you looking at? I just trew it all on and it came ur cool by accident.

aaaaaaahhhh I diiiee it’s so amazziinnggg.. and so are you. thanks.

Beautiful piece! It would frame the tattoo on my shoulder perfectly. I love contrasts so I would like to pair it with something floral and frilly. It could add edge to an otherwise sweet strapless dress. I’m thinking I could balance that pairing out with a pair of killer black boots.

If left to my own devices, I can tend to over accessorize. I enjoy your blog because you so beautifully illustrate how wear one or two stunning pieces and give them the room to speak. Thanks for the opportunity.

And I can’t forget accessories like plenty of necklaces and rings!

Gorgeous gorgeous necklace! I love all the jewelery by UME. They are so cute. Thanks for offering this giveaway. Hmm, how would i wear it? Well i think there are endless possibilites. However, im a simple girl and i feel that the necklace is one of those pieces that captures the attention of the whole outfit so I wouldnt want to wear anything that would take away its exquisitiveness. I would probably wear it with a black maxi dress. Simple outfit to allow the necklace to shine. 🙂 Thanks again for the contest.

Love your blog tooooo! PS. i adore adore adore the hand necklace you wore in your previous posts that you got from H&M. Sadly, i have not been able to find another one like it.

I will be getting married next month, and I’ve picked up a one shoulder dress. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but when I got to choosing jewelry nothing would go with a one shouldered dress. I was desperate since I love the dress (and can’t afford to buy a new one). Until I saw the Armor piece… Love at first sight. Perfect for the dress, perfect for my character, it’s me in every way. As I am not a US resident, there’s no way for me to get it. So either I win this, or I’d be wearing an arm tattoo for my wedding…. (lol, naturally)

This piece can rock with anything. Beautiful, interesting and creative. I wanted to purchase this myself but can’t afford to right now 🙁 A few ideas:

    1. one billowing sleeved, colorful, midriff top, high waisted jean flares and sky high platforms. tons of rings a must.

    2. black, backless, halter maxi dress, studded belt at the empire waist, a huge floppy hat, knee high gladiators, and the rings of course.

    3. floor length, chiffon, strapless evening gown, and scuffed up ankle boots hidden underneath 🙂

Just a few of the thousands of ways I’d wear this amazing piece. I’d be in heaven to win as I’ve never won anything! Love your style and your blog. Keep it up ;P

i’d wear it with pj’s since i don’t get out much 😛 …. but really i think you could wear it with anything….i’d even try to pair it with something conservative just because…

I would wear it with my new faux Miu Miu bodysuit from Zara. I love the idea of the tough necklace with the soft periwinkle and bird pattern of the shirt. With a pair of dark trousers and a fedora and messy locks, I think it would be the perfect look.

Naked! No… that wouldn’t be appropriate… I’d wear it with monster platforms. Only.

    🙂

Fantastic piece, I’d even wear it to bed.

I loved that piece of jewlery when I saw it in your first post.

I would wear it with a one shoulder top in a burgundy color, a black flowy skirt and some black heeled sandals.

    It just seems so versatile.

HI Karen! I wrote this last night!:

Oh honey thank you for this amazing chance!!

I would wear it over my wang one shoulder grey bra top and a super thin white tank and loads of other grungey/skull/crosses necklaces, long messy hair, so many rings that I would have truble picking up stuff and occasionally-falling-over-high-platforms

then I would just piss around the streets with shades on with the look that says: What? what are you looking at? I just trew it all on and it came ur cool by accident.

aaaaaaahhhh I diiiee it’s so amazziinnggg.. and so are you. thanks.

I don’t know where my original comment went off too! However, I would love to see this piece ( my favourite armor piece!) over a sheer black fitted button-up w/ black bra and a nude silk pant or trouser and some sam edelman’s to play with the masculine/feminine vibes of this piece. I love your blog keep doing what you do!

  265. Karen says:

    THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!

    Wow what a great piece.

I would wear it with a sideswept braid on the opposite side of the chain and a one-colored strapless dress, some killer heels, and sunglasses.

I’ve been coveting that piece since the first time you featured it on your blog! I am actually newly engaged and we are planning on doing our engagement photos in a modern museum setting. I would wear the necklace with my soft pink strapless dress (it has a simple clean cut to it with a low back)to edge it up/add contrast for our little “photo shoot.” I think it would look great against the modern architecture there. Annnnd I would for sure be pairing it up with a little muted gold strapless dress for my bachelorlette party! Thanks for your awesomeness blog. Makes fashion fun, xo

  268. Miss Penny Lane says:

i would wear it everywhere, whether in the office or in the supermarket. i would never put it off. its like a tattoo. it looks beautiful to a bikini the same like an oneshoulder dress.
if i had enough money, i would buy it by myself. honestly i cant understand why you should give it away, yeah its nice, but if i had one i would never never give it away. its an unnormal necklace, it is unique.
you know that i am the one and only real person for this necklace.

  269. Lulu says:

That is an insanely fierce piece. I would wear it with white vintage levi cut-offs, a black slouchy tee (sheer) with the sleeves sawn off and black celine sandals. I’d layer it over tee. I would do UNSPEAKABLE things for that piece!!

  270. Nathalie says:

i would wear it with my black tight jeans, combat boot/heels and tight black tank
    rocker!

  271. AAW86 says:

I have been dreaming about this Armor piece for months. They carry it at the west village boutique I work at and I try it on everyday I work because I can’t afford it….obsessed. I love the way your wearing and think the most standout way to wear it is with a strapless top/dress. I would probably wear it with a strapless shirt (casual to let the piece stand out) and fold-over black lame/matte leggings or coated jeans and some killer boots. I think an added blazer would look great to top it off so that you can see a hint of the hanging chains across the chest….hair up in a chic bun. Done!
