Long time readers here know I love wayfarers so no suprises that the Grey Ant status sunglasses were on my radar.
Not being able to try them on first before shelling out $260 put me right off.
With fingers crossed, I ordered versions via Urban Outfitters online (under $20 each) and they are suprisingly gorge. Bonus points: the gradient shade on top is dark enough to hide the eyes. These frames are thick, solid and giant sized.
Urban is sold out (for now). Get them on eBay here or here or check your closest UO shop.

UPDATE: Found another site here that has them thanks to a blog reader who emailed me.

    I have the SAME knockoffs! cant justify the cash the real deal would cost me….also you can buy them at some Buffalo Exchange shops for like $8.00!

    I’ve always thought that knockoff shoes or purses are terrible, but for some reason knockoff sunglasses don’t offend me very much- and I have to say these are some pretty great ones!
