Found another gem one cold windy rainy day which made it all the more sweet.
Click below for my latest ‘shop love’ find…

One of the biggest selection of leather jackets that I’ve seen. So many that my arms got tired going through them but by God was the mind willing to continue
Tons of varied fur/faux furs and leathers

SICKEST embellished jacket I’ve seen in a while.  How amazing would this be with an old tank and your favourite shorts and boots?

Wear this like you would a cardigan. I can see this over a plain maxi dress – easily effortless

Customers grab store ladders to rummage through the higher tiers of amazingness (I think I need one of these for my wardrobe).

Love the leather straps.  I feel like high end designers are designing all black leather versions of these but why not get an authentic canvas and leather one for $60?

Yes it’s not winter anymore but that’s why going off season is best: better choices and more haggle wiggle room? (and yes I tried on a couple of things here including that white fringe leather number)

These were all reduced (come September any coats won’t be)

Church Street Surplus

This vintage and military surplus shop is fantastic. I immediately removed my coat and handed it to the assistant saying ‘oh this is going to take a while….’
The mother load of military jackets, leathers, suedes, furs, summer dresses, army memorabilia, hats….
One thing I didn’t photograph was that large summer dress section. What is WRONG with me??  I think it was an information over load moment.  The dresses were floor length, above or below the knee length vintage dresses/kimono gowns with large sleeves you could wear as a dress. Ugh they had it all.
I love how this place is tucked off Canal Street. A gem that’s steps away from tourists and street vendors hustling them but no one knows it’s there since it’s off the beaten track…love that.  Always will.
