Where did u get that – saddle bag on 5th avenue

Photography: Karen Blanchard
I semi sprinted over to this girl last week to ask where did she get her stunning bag.  She told me it’s from Morocco (how did I know that was coming) but said that she has seen them “all over in New York now.”  If anyone knows where exactly please do tell.
I loved how she wore it messenger style over tightly rolled dark jeans, a shrunken striped shirt and simple Vans.  Her indigo jeans and shirt are from Hollister where she works.

Similars to her look:

Topshop shirt
James Perse tank (cut low enough at the front to not show)
J Brand skinnies in ink
Vans classics (I like these checkerboards)

Yup,recognized it as being from Morocco immediately. I went there two years ago and many bags have similar finish and stamping, tanneries are everywhere. I have one in yellow and one in hot pink 🙂

I love the color of that bag! You should go to Morocco Karen, you would LITERALLY be in heaven, there’s leather EVERYTHING! I came back with a jacket in the color of her purse, and I [lan on returning next year with a wad of cash and an empty carry on bag. Love her look, nothing like indigo skinnies and a brown purse to put a smile on my face 🙂

I saw that Zara TRF had a similar one. Or they do on the UK website anyways so i’m guessing they probably do in US stores too.

You can also find them all over Spain for about 40 euro, especially in Madrid’s Sunday-market, el Rastro. They smell horeshit the first weeks or so, so you need to air them out =)
