New York to Barcelona

Here’s a peak of what I’m bringing to Barcelona today.  I’m meeting the rest of the bloggers at the airport in a few hours.

    PS: Spain is beautiful! I went just a few years ago and crammed everything in a 2 week period and still missed alot!
    IDK if you will have time or where you are staying but Toledo is beautiful! You must visit the Sagrada Familia church not sure where it is.

    If you are in Barcelona and you are looking for some good vintage shops you definitely need to visit Carrer del Carme in the Raval neighbourhood. And then especially the shop ‘Lullaby’, great pieces and very nice and kind owners!

    Oh check out Boca Grande on Pasaje de la concepcion. Es muy muy muy bueno! Order the strawberries and cream for dessert. I now know what real strawberries taste like.

    Hi there! Here another local from Barcelona.
    as someone said before, street Riera Baixa in raval is full of vintage shops. Lullaby is run by some friends and they have a super good selection of jewelery and 60’s and 70’s dresses. there are as well nice vintage stores in street tallers. Best clubs in town are razzmatazz, apolo and becool.

    You should walk as well through Passeig de Gracia, where high fashion shops are and best architecture in town, you’ll find 2 houses by Gaudi.
    You should also allow yourself to get lost in Born neighborhood, full of tiny shops from local designers and visit le Swing (vintage shops where you can find chanel, YSL..) and
    important tip: be aware of the pickpockets!! they are super clever and without noticing you’ll miss your wallet.

    Karen!!! You absolutely have to go to Le Quinze Nits Restaurant, http://www.lesquinzenits.com in the heart of las Ramblas in Placa Reial. The food is prepared by students of the cooking school there so its professional grade and delicious, but half the price! I mean 9 Euros or less! They seat at 3 times during the night so be sure to get there b4 the line gets too long. When I lived in BCN, I ate there 3 times a week – no lie! Also, if you have time you should take a trip to Montserrat – It’s one of a kind beautiful! Have fun!
