Recent Finds: Golds, Creams & Denim

I’m mixing warm colours into a black and grey winter wardrobe.

Pic 1:  The Penny Lane coat

A vintage coat from Australia sent to me by an incredible reader who knew I’d love it.   I have been trying to find a coat like this for YEARS.  Coats like this fly out the door from New York vintage shops.  I have already called her to personally thank her for sending it to me.

Pic 2: Gold jeans + Denim

Pic 3 & 4:  Clutches & cross body bags

Sequin gold clutch from Zara.  I’ve been wearing it with woolly jumpers. Similar one here.
Rebecca Minkoff cross body bags found at Lucky Shops. The white is sold out in all colours.  I found a black here).


Pic 5:  Victorian inspired blouse

With a zillion buttons on each sleeve, good with black leather skinnies and skirts.

    oooh I love that sheapcoat, wher did you get that?? I´ve made from an old sheepscoat I had a really cool vest, but because it is a bit old, the leather teares and I have to fix it. I wrote a post about it if you wanna see it.

    Love the coat, such a great gift! We have a lot of thrift stores in my area (s. Jersey) but most of them have boring semi new style stuff, no real vintage. They are really only good for basics. Yesterday I got a Ralph Lauren simple khaki trench for $12, and an Ann Taylor chocolate suede shirt jacket (tags still on it) for $6….but how I wish I’d held on to some of my mom’s old 70’s stuff. She had everything! I really need to get into Philadelphia to do some real vintage shopping…
