… and animal print.
Mint trousers: Goldsign (similars). Beaded top: Vintage (similar here or here). Coat: Housing Works consignment (try this or this one). Panama hat: New Orleans hat shop (similar). Heels: Aldo (similar

This was Easter Sunday going to a Christening otherwise you don’t usually see me this dressed up.
I wore wide leg trousers (sold here called ‘ Lovesong 80s wide leg pants’ by Goldsign) and a vintage top. Long time readers know these heels. Had em a couple of years now (remember this post in white jeans?). The light coat is consignment and the panama hat is from New Orleans.
TIP: Pair two separates in the same colour family. e.g. tangerines/reds like this jacket with this dress. Lilacs/purples. Yellows/mustards. You get the gist. As long as one is darker than the other then they usually pair well. Go neutral on the shoes.

Not many people could pull this off, but then not many people are you!! XOXO
Karen says:
ahh thx Sia. I think actually a lot can wear this. It’s really about the sizing so everything drapes and hangs off the body. know what I mean? and it doesn’t have to be in this colour.

I love the whole idea of your blog, which I understand it is seeing sharp looking people on the street, snapping some photos of them and asking them where they got their clothing. I love it. I love the positive aspect rather than some which just make fun of how people dress or only showcase themselves, you show off other people and their fashion which I think is fantastic. Where I live its rural, I wear mostly “farm” clothes, not much chance to show off my fashion tastes but this summer we are actually going to have a vacation in a city where fashion is all the rage, naturally my teenage daughter is looking forward to shopping.
Great blog, totally enjoyed the lovely fashions.
