Sunglass Hut: Part 2

sunglasses-v.3

Final pics for the Sunglass Hut Shoot mentioned a few weeks ago…

Look 1:  A masculine take on the sweet pastel trend.  The stylist and I picked a basic wide leg pant and an ivory blazer.  I wore the look with classic aviators – shades you’ve seen me in for years now on this blog.  They suit most face shapes which explains why so many around New York still wear them probably.

Shirt: Jill Stuart. Trousers: Goldsign. Blazer: Silence & Noise. Shoes: Pour La Victoire. Sunglasses: Ray Ban

Look 2: My favourite!  I picked out the D&G blue cat eye shades and styled a look based around tribal prints.  This was a first time trying the whole cat eye thing and yes, they did feel a bit glam. Being dark and oversized, you feel like you can can hide behind them.

Shirt & Hat: Mara Hoffman.  Tribal print trousers: H&M. Accessories: Ben Amun. Shoes: Pour La Victoire. Sunglasses: Dolce & Gabbana.

I ended up keeping the cat eye sunglasses.  It’s a new shape that makes a big change from what you usually see me in.  Since the shoot I’ve experimented wearing them with all sorts. I’m sure you’ll start seeing them soon. These sunglasses are great but I do like to have another pair just in case so I decided to branch my spendings a bit further and purchased some Personalized sunglasses of my own.

Two different looks. Two different sunglasses.  You lot know I’m a fan of trying different sunglasses e.g round/mirrored/aviators/wayfarers,  so the shoot was right up my alley.

    You look great!

Adult aviators look awful on me but kids ones fit perfectly – I must have a really skinny face!
