St. Lucia

The last winter escape photos.  Now if these last two posts don’t warm you up then nothing will.

Still feels weird to share these when it’s sooooo flipping cold in New York.  Posting the exact opposite to what’s going on outside feels good though.

To be honest though, I’ve got one eye on spring already and am looking at a couple of dresses on here and a vintage looking drawstring bag to wear one with them!  Not long to go. I say by end of March we’ll be in them.

ps.  Check out the other St. Lucian photos here and here.

So Karen, I have to ask, where on the island is the house you’re sitting on the balcony at?
Looks just like my place in Vieux fort, even the neighbours across the street have the same color home!
    So crazy to see!
Can’t wait to be there too, only 6 more weeks 🙂

oh, the islands…I am an ocean girl, but not really a summer girl, the older I get, the less I can stand the heat. But when in the islands, it is entirely possible to imagine oneself living there full time…I was lucky to spend a summer in Jamaica, working with the poor, seeing the island in a way most tourists never will, and it is so much better than way! Thanks for sharing your trip.
