JUNK

Untitled

Goes without saying:  If I wear vintage then I probably love antique and vintage furniture.   Here’s one place I visit every so often in Williamsburg brooklyn called Junk.

Untitled

They also sell vintage records, art, clothes, books and an sorts of knick knacks like tons of these coloured glass bottles. I love these for displaying on bookshelves or maybe in a spot in the bathroom.

There’s another location 2 blocks away, both are packed.  Look at that old sofa to the right.

Stacks and stacks of mirrors with various wood frames.

Junk has lots of chairs like this which love.  I could see them re-holstered in a solid jewel or light colored fabric and being stunning.

This is my fave chair in this place. It’s less than $400.

Untitled

Every time I’m in here I sit on it. I wish I had the space or a little boutique of my own for it. Needs refurbishing but it’s worth it.

Didn’t see these kitchen chair stools when I was last in there.  They were around $70 each.

Dress and cap: H&M. Shoes: Converse. Bag: Rebecca Minkoff.

They have two locations in Williamsburg, the one shown here on the corner of 9th street and Driggs Ave and the other is 3 blocks away on Driggs.  I bought a large venetian mirror from them not too long ago. It’s similar to the one hanging above our bed in this post.  Random finds like that keep me returning.
Excuse the cap, it rained off on an on and I wore it instead of carting a brolly around for annoying sprinkles.

Shopstyle asked me to pick three places and this is the third one. You can see the first and second faves here.

Since there’s loads of fave places I love I’ll continue sharing them here regularly.
