Wearing all white on a hot day in New Orleans. I wore faux leather shorts with a loose knit jumper and white Birkenstocks. The camo Ray-Bans are a change to the usual all blacks (I like it with the orange lippie).

Mother’s Day is coming up and my Mum is in St.Lucia. Even though she’s miles away I feel connected to her because of this gold ring on my right hand. It’s been on my finger every day and appeared in blog posts for the past year since she gave it to me. It was her mother’s ring when her mother was growing up and it’s been passed down to me. Every time we do a Skype she blurts out: “oh good I see you’re still wearing the ring!” Of course she’d kill me if I lost it (not an option).
I’ll send Mum some flowers on Sunday (and a pair of Birkenstocks – she loves them). I’ve seen a few of the Latest Birkenstock Styles and I’m tempted to get another pair! They’re so comfy and I just love how they look! They’re great for summer. I bet if she saw these new Ray-Bans from Sunglass Hut she’d want them too – typical Mum – but a small price for that ring.
