Well ‘ello ‘ello. I just got back from a (new) hair salon yesterday – hence the boy cut.
Dress: Salvation Army/second hand. Try Minkpink or Topshop. Boots: Dr. Martens. Leather jacket: Vintage. Bag: Chanel. Similar by Rebecca Minkoff. Shades: Folding Ray-Ban Wayfarers (love these)
I said to the hairdresser: “I want more off. It’s not boyish enough.” I did a silent gulp though when he was done and thought (excuse the pun): “ohhhhh boy…” I tell you, if you ever want to know what’s going on in my head dressing wise, just look at what’s going on on top of it. Now all I want to wear is denim, leather and old t-shirts.
Frock wise I do feel right chuffed in this old dress. It’s a second hand Salvation Army type find which had me at the damn faded floral print which sucks me in every time. I pinned up the hem in two spots at the front a year ago to give the skirt some shape and have kept it that way. Some of you remember seeing it before here with those clogs.
It’s a super easy trick to do to a big dress – especially if you’re a. impatient and b. hate sewing.
