This is a recycling of something traditional worn slightly differently.
Plaid shirt: Uniqlo. Try Shopbop. Kilt: Search & Destroy on St. Marks. Try Kate Spade. Jeans: Zara. Jacke: Silence & Noise. Boots: Balenciaga. I kinda like the Michael Kors boots. Purse: Proenza Schouler
I originally had on the plaid shirt and jeans only but added the kilt for a spin on the same ol’ same ol’.
I LOVE a good traditional kilt and morphed two pieces into a psuedo dress over jeans: a tomboy/girl balance. I’m getting into skirts or dresses over skinnies at the moment.
ps. I wore kilts at school (don’t laugh) so this is an homage of sorts.
pps. I went to the hair dresser for a trim and he cut more off the sides and the back. I’m still in that semi WTF/hyperventilating stage but am secretly glad that I finally found someone with the balls to do what’s been in my head for a very long time.
Where to get this or similar:

That haircut is gorgeous…wish I had the balls to get it myself!
Karen says:
ahhh don’t worry it took me well over a year of just THINKING about it. I really took my time and mulled it over for ages so by the time I cut it I was ready.

It is always so… Once you go for short hair, you want to go shorter and shorter even more!! LOVE your new haircut, I think it suits you sooo well! And love the outfit too! Hugs from Italy
Karen says:
You know what someone said that on my Instagram and I remembered those words ever since because clearly it’s true.

Love this look! Layering the plaid on plaid with the white blazer is so striking! Side note, I love your hair, I recently cut my hair and had the same reaction. I wish I had the guts to cut my hair to that length, I always admire women that can rock the short cut. It’s a good look on you!

I know any cut makes you swallow hard. I used to always admire women who cut their hair very short too. It always was ‘a look’ and I loved that. LMK if you ever cave and go shorter! It happens in stages.
