Jacket & boots: Zara. Jeans, watch & tie: Michael’s. Shirt: (can’t remember. Had it for years). Top hat: Topshop. It’s made appearances on the blog here in my bedroom and I LOVED wearing it in this post too.

Michael and I took these pics for a magazine looking for an outfit based around menswear. (Come to think of it, the chelsea boots posted below would’ve worked).
I love men’s style watches and wearing Michael’s got me thinking: If I got one, what colour should I go with? A large stainless steel or all gold? Think old school Rolex in either colour (the look – not the real thing).

    Maybe i’m still in the Halloween mode, but you remind me of the nutcracker doll in this – probably the hat and blazer combo. I’ve seen many different masculine takes on women. This one is quite refreshing because it looks like a man could really wear the jeans, shirt and tie but then you add this sexy blazer to the mix. This is a masculine look on a woman done correctly

    If you can’t decide how about a two-tone watch? Silver steel with rose or yellow gold for example. All gold can sometimes look a little tacky.
    I have a MK oversized boyfriend style watch in steel and rose gold and I love it. I’ve been wearing it every day since I bought it in September.

    Although I’m a strictly silver kinda girl I too am thinking of getting a gold watch (but hey I’m thinking of getting both the silver and the gold).

    So I say go for gold. After seeing that coral ysl arty ring on your skin I think gold suits you good 🙂

    I am loving this look. I love the look of men’s wear, but never know how to put it together properly without looking like i’m trying to hard. I guess I’ll look to you for inspiration. I too love the idea of a men’s watch. I would definitely go for the stainless steel watch, especially a brushed matte stainless. I’ve got my eyes on this ridiculously overpriced and oversized black Michael Khors watch. the face might be bigger than my wrists, but I want it anyway!

    As for men’s watches, I vote for gold. I inherited my grandad’s and wear it all the time. It seems to go with everything and it reminds me of him whenever I need to know the time.
