Everything I’ve loved the most this season has been vintage suede.  Until I realized that this skirt can’t be when I saw it available now in shops…!

Unstructured Coat: Forever21 (on sale).  Jumper: Thrift.  Skirt: Housing Works. Just saw that Free People’s is the same in another color!! or try Marc by Marc Jacobs (on sale). Bag: Proenza Schouler.  Shoes: Men’s.  Similars from Steven, Nine West. Socks: Topshop.

This skirt sits high up on the waist which looks cool with a thin top tucked into it but I wore it with a thick slouchy jumper instead this time.    Free People has an identical one in brown or this plain green skirt is a compromise to ease into the whole suede skirt thing.
