platforms and paisley

Dress: H&M. Leggings: American Apparel. Shoes: Jessica Simpson. Necklaces: Foley & Corinna. Ring: New Orleans street vendor. Nails: Essie ‘Funky Limelight’
Had this H&M dress for years. Can’t throw it. I’m a sucker for paisley print and to me it’s the poor man’s version of Anna Sui’s 2009 RTW collection. Just add purple tights, knee high boots and a feather hat.
I’ll wear the wood platforms with trousers or jeans next time so you can see how they look that way. All thanks though to Charles Anastase 2009 RTW for showing the originals. What I would give for those.

    I totally get the paisley obsession. I once found a children’s dress in this amazing paisley print. I must admit I wear it every now and then, in spite of the looks I get.

    I must say I love the shoes – I recently went full force with high heels with the Jeffrey Campbell Ticks (like walking on clouds…) and I just am in love with the ones you are wearing…was going to go for the JC clog, but may be switching speeds to these

    I have that same dress I bought it in Paris from H&M about 4 or 5 years ago when I went to London & Paris for Christmas and New Years I wore it with dark brown tights & the same color flat boots

    I am so conflicted about liking the shoes! I saw them a few weeks ago on line and lvoed them but then I started thinking too hard! I think they are fab but where the hell am I going to wear them! I think they will look fab with wide legged trousers too!
