Crochet dress: Forever21. Shades: Ray Ban. Black and triple amber rings: Dr Foots (New Orleans)
While at jazz fest last week I posted cell pics on twitter here of this vendor’s sick jewellery. His name is Dr Foots.
I marched over to him and told him I LOVED the pieces he was wearing and how his work reminded me of Erykah Badu’s style (my girl crush). Turns out she has bought pieces from him before and he showed me photos of them together.
I bought two stone rings and must have chatted with him for ooooo a good hour?
He currently doesn’t sell online but by God does he need to. I’m staying in touch with him. A great soul with wicked style.
ps. Thanks Caroline for featuring my crochet dress here. Your blog is sick and I read it daily.

i read your last post about his jewelry and i thought he was who you were talking about! my father knows him, and a couple years back he made my entire family silver bangles. we never take them off and the silver is just as beautiful as the day we got them (with out even polishing). not only is he a great artist, but he is such a great guy. i am so glad you found one of the best vendors at the fest.

WOW … just WOW. Dr Foots REALLY needs to start selling online! His pieces are amazing and I really hope I’ll be seeing/hearing more about him in the future! (both on your blog and elsewhere, fingers crossed) I have no idea how you limited yourself to just two rings – I admire your self control 🙂 xxxxx

Love love love the lapis rings as well as the green stone ones. I have been looking for a good lapis ring for ages. I buy my stone jewelry from Pakistan they have amazing pieces there.

Love both your rings. I’m dying to go to NO!
