on stylelikeu

I was honored to be interviewed on Stylelikeu.com – a website that looks at a diverse range of people’s unique style. It allows you to leave comments on the person’s videos too.

Run by Elisa Goodkind, (stylist and fashion editor) I frequent the site almost daily (Elisa’s style alone is incredible).

ps. Excuse the massive clothes pile in the back that went to Goodwill later that day.

That was such a pleasure to watch. You really do have a unique way of looking at clothes and it has inspired me to look at this differently with and open and creative mind. I’m getting there and might I add its great fun!

Your such a beautiful person. Great interview!

And my mom is the same. Going shopping for new clothes meant going to thrift shops or hitting the sales rack. My mom’s idea is “why buy it for top price when it’s eventually going to fall in a couple a weeks.”

I’m so glad she taught me that young. Makes shopping in college so much easier.

I’m thrilled, because a lot of your stuff comes from St. Marks and you’re always over on Broadway, but I never see you. I want to run into you! No lie.

See, cause I love trash and Vaudeville, I always go to the tattoo parlor down the block that doesn’t look like a tattoo parlor, and I like the little barely noticeable thrift store right across the street from the ring vendors next to T&V.

I really love your taste in clothes, and your closet is enjoyable. Thanks for sharing with a young one like me Karen. Proof that style is ever evolving and you don’t need to have a crapload of money to make a statement.

I’m so glad that I came across it, you’ve made me proud to be British and I’m so inspired to be more adventurous in my own style!

Thx everyone for the comments. I can’t stand watching myself on video. It’s weird. I’ve looked twice only at it and that’s it lol!!!

Jacquie – usually I say trousers but I’ve noticed myself adapting to saying American words to avoid the “oooo say that again! sounded so cute. what do you call them?!!! OMG say it again!”
