Ok, so I have a question about that “wear with everything” part. I have a very similar pair of boots, except, actually, even cooler. The fringe hangs down from the top and the heel is beautifully carved wood. They’re not anywhere online, or I’d show you a photo. You’d die. Anyway, I can’t figure out how to wear them! I guess they’re outside my normal style comfort zone, but they were an on-sale impulse buy and I love them dearly. So aside from with everything, how exactly would you advise wearing them?

    HI Rachel!

Good question. How about with a ditsy floral above the knee tea dress?

Something like this but any dress that’s short. It’s flirty:

    actually ANY of these dresses:

or any floaty maxi dress so these peak out from in front as you are walking? I could even see these in winter with a wool maxi skirt and leather jacket.

I also see these with a long line maxi with a side split (easier for walking):

http://rstyle.me/rec8bev Wear anything on top from a sheer button down shirt to a drapey thin T and a low slung vintage looking belt.

Also with skinnies tucked in with anything on top e.g. button down shirt, floaty sheer blouse?

I would so wear these with a pair of old shorts too.

Colour wise, pick what you think you’ll get the most use out of and what you think you already have boot wise?

    Hope that helps!

I stumbled across your blog and I am obsessed with your blog. Best fashion blog in da world…hands down!!! You give me inspiration. I also love how you love your black Frye Biker Boots. I own over 100 pairs of shoes, but I wear my Frye’s all of the time.
Your style is very 90’s with a modern twist IMO. How would you define your style?

FYI you can get the tea rose ones on sale at Piperlime for $180. Just a note, they are QUITE pink. The Piperlime picture is pretty accurate. They are awesome though, and so comfortable! I ordered my normal size and they are fine too.

  18. Karen says:

I received the tan ones (in the middle) and they are PERFECT!!!

    Comfortable too.
