Printed pants

Ran to a S/S 12 preview at Topshop today (pics to follow) and took street style pictures afterwards. 

Here’s what I wore to run around..


Harem pants: Barcelona Spain. Puff sleeve leather jacket: Juicy Couture (saw this and this alternative). Bowler Hat: H&M (found one here).  Flats: Zara (love these by SM in beige just dye them black or spotted). Shades: Ray Ban. Bag: Alexander Wang
I got these printed harems while in Barcelona Spain recently. I’ve been after a pair like this for a very long time. Whenever I stop someone wearing similar they always said theirs was from overseas and so, it seems are mine too!
Trousers have undergone a transformation of sorts and it’s about time. They’ve gone from the ubiquitous office trouser to printed fluid wide legs, colour blocked pyjama inspired to drop crotch sweat pants (also shown on the street style blog).  Trick is to get a loose fabric to feel like your wearing a long maxi skirt.  As the temperature drops, add knit leggings under and slouchy cable knits or skinny polo necks on top.
The boho print sold me and they were so cheap I wish I bought another pair in a different colour!  If anyone from Barcelona is reading this let me know and I’ll see if I can twist your arm via Paypal to pick me up one more pair please?

    Wow I would never wear harem pants but I swear you worked the heck out of these!! I am flabbergasted by how awesome you look in them. Sometimes I wish I lived somewhere not rural because you can make the craziest fashion choices and get away with them in more fashion forward areas i.e. New York.

    I can’t lie! I love harem pants! I bought a pair when I visited Granada while I was studying in Sevilla! I came back and my Dad told me it was the next million dollar idea haha…. Only my guy friends and dad liked the pants, none of my girlfriends did haha!
