If there’s a default set of clothes I could live in I think it’s these. The same mannish shoe, an oversized shirt, faux skinnies and a hat. Same ol’ same ol’.

It’s like a uniform. I know a handful of people like that. They wear the same look every day, it doesn’t change and it works. Would be good to try that for say a month or so straight but I like experimenting too damn much. Maybe one day – or month. The same similar look repeated over and over. I wonder if you lot would get bored of seeing that on the blog. Would it be less inspiring boring or cool?
We’ve all got a default. The one set of clothes we keep wearing or going back to when all else fails when you can’t be bothered in the morning.

I’d like to see that! I think tweaking with shoes and accessories can really change a look too, as well as rolling hems or tucking things in/ pulling them out. My uniform consists of, skinny jeans, converse/chucks, a band tee and an open oversized shirt, especially relevant on uni days (early mornings and good styling don’t sit well with me). x x x

I have a pair of thrifted Kenneth Cole oxfords that are almost identical in design except the sole is leather. I haven’t worn them much because I usually prefer a heel of some description. I’m inspired to try again. My default usually consists of a maxi skirt and half-tucked top. Super comfortable.
