Just by looking at the simplicity of her outfit topped off with a quirky flower I should’ve guessed that Beatrice was French.
I took this shot in the summer on a damp afternoon when Beatrice was wandering around in Topshop. I coaxed her to come outside for a quick photo. She was clutching a pair of socks to purchase “Can you put these on hold?” I blurted out to an assistant standing nearby as I grabbed them from Beatrice and stuffed them in the assistant’s hand.
We popped out for a couple of photos and by the following day I was joining her after her emailed invite to Governor’s Island for The Parisian Ball. Beatrice and her husband organized the event. Click here to see what I wore for it.
This look is easily translated to winter in a long thicker skirt and a slouchy knit jumper plus ankle boots (found a code for 30% off jumpers here code: Fall30).
ps. You can see pics of Beatrice and her husband on my couples only site where I met her the next day. Her husband is just as stylish as she is. Additional photos from the event of other couples included!

Sometimes, there’s people that don’t need anymore to have style. This seems to be easy, but it’s very difficult.
