So this is the latest bag from Chanel and my first ‘sighting’ in New York. It’s currently making the rounds on various sites and on Instagram. I say my first sighting because I didn’t even recognize that this was it at the time of taking this photo until I was scanning my photo library and went: “Hang on – that’s the new Girl bag.”

No, I would not. For me, this bag is an excellent illustration of the “emperior’s new clothes.” There’s nothing there! I think it looks like something you could buy for $24.99 in the junior department at Target. But there will be those who will shell out thousands for it simply because it is Chanel. Now don’t misunderstand me — I love a classic Chanel bag and one day, the jumbo flap will be mine. But I wouldn’t spend one penny on this one. It think it’s ugly. (Aren’t you glad you asked, lol!)

Eeek, nope! I remember seeing this when it first came out and going “But why?”. I guess it has it’s fans but not for me.
